Just launched a Substack to go along with the NJ 250 Challenge series! It’s where I’ll post a written version of each episode, some behind‑the‑scenes thoughts, and a batch of photos from every hike. We started our hike at Ongs Hat with temps in the 30s. There’s a saying: "Be Bold, Start Cold" (start hiking with fewer layers so you don't sweat). Do you follow this rule? 🧥❄️

Let's see.....On this trip I drove 400 miles to almost fell off a ledge, get hit with hot exploding rock fragment from the campfire all while running on 3 hours of sleep. But it was a hell of a trip!
