On 15th August 1947, India broke the chains of colonial rule and began its journey as a free nation. Let’s remember the sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters and honour their legacy.


Independence Day marks the end of British rule in 1947.

The first Indian Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, hoisted the national flag at Red Fort.

Our tricolour represents courage (Saffron), peace (White), and prosperity (Green), with the Ashoka Chakra symbolising progress.
