I realized a few weeks ago that the name I had for nearly 5 years was running out of shelf life. I love writing and creating web development tutorials. But the web has expanded in ways I could have never imagined.
I had the domain name haydn.co sitting in my list of spare domain names. I had missed out on buying haydn.com when the gold rush began and I jumped at it the minute Colombia offered up the .co name. I didn't exactly know what to do with it until this past week.
I realized that haydn.co more encapsulated what I wanted to do. I still wanted to create web dev videos, but expand beyond into other web technology: Stripe, stan store, email marketing.
And so I decided to re-brand the channel. Welcome haydn.co
I realized that I wanted to publish videos around the web development space that we're all coding videos. To show how other tools work: from email to online courses to integrating Stripe. So I somewhat split the traffic and spun up a new channel.
I'll still be publishing here that's more code-related and the other channel with how-to's for non-code related content. Welcome to follow me over there as well.
Thank you, everyone for your support over the years! Onwards and upwards.
I took some time off to figure out the direction I wanted to take this channel in and, more importantly, how to have it be a working financial endeavor as well (well enough to buy a latte every month or so). My problem was that I was relying solely on ad revenue and that was a bad idea. So I made a few decisions.
1) All the source code will eventually be behind a paywall for one low price. Starting this month, all of the source code will move behind a paywall. If you want the code, it will be available for $5/per source code.
2) I get it. That can add up. So I'm also building a monthly membership (or per year) where you'll get ALL the source code.
3) Past and future online courses will also be a part of the above pay-per-month (or year).
My goal is to give you everything under the sun for one low monthly (or yearly) price.
Thank you everyone for all of your continued support over the years!

I've got some exciting news. I've launched a new channel! Introducing the Passive Income Toolkit: youtube.com/@passiveincometoolkit
