Meet Busgosus⛵
Busgosus is a band based in Lugo, Galicia, composed of childhood friends Xoán Salgado (vocals and percussion) and Daniel 'Dani' Carballo (lute and guitar).
The love for music was something that they both shared, and they usually played together to pass the time. It was during slow business hours, in the truck that they run and own, that they discovered it was something they could do professionally(much in part thanks to the feedback of their customers).
They released their acoustic and lute-driven debut EP, "MOZOS," in 2025, gaining some success and earning invitations to perform across Galicia, Asturias, and Northern Portugal. "A Barca" marks a new chapter in their career, with a richer, more varied, and professionally produced soundscape, though Dani's lute remains a constant thread.
(Dualliste is a fictional band created by neonFortuna)
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Behind the neonPersona:
For Busgosus I reused a concept I'd originally sketched for Dualliste: childhood friends starting a band together.
Since most of my neonPersonas are at the beginning of their music careers, I decided to have Busgosus a step further along, with "A Barca" idealized as a second-era single following a debut EP that exists in name only.
This led me to build their identity separate from the themes of "A Barca," and, since I didn't find anyone else using that name, I settled on Busgosus, plural of Busgosu, a forest guardian from Asturian/Cantabrian mythology, physically similar to a faun.
The shift in sound mentioned in the "bio" nods to how "A Barca" actually came together: in its early version it was more lute-driven, it still had the "sailors'" singing and drums, but the brass in the released version only came later, once I tried generating other versions with different instruments.
In honesty, I'm unsure if I made the right call in this one and if I should have chose a version sans-brass with the lute as it's main instrument.

Meet ETN-78📻
Étienne Hanquet is a 35-year-old architect by trade and music producer by passion, currently living in Verviers, Belgium.
Étienne grew up in Liège, acquiring, from an early age, a love for French chanson and the early pioneers of electronic music thanks to his parents' vinyl collection.
In his teenage years he started dabbling in music production as a hobby, something he never stopped doing, even as he focused on his architecture degree in Lille, France, and later when he started working full-time as an architect.
Although much of the music he produced was, in his words, a mirror of his internal world, he always felt a desire to share it with the public, and he decided to start publishing his songs under the artist name, ETN-78.
"Plus de Demain" is his latest release.
(ETN-78 is a fictional artist created by neonFortuna)
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Behind the neonPersona:
Étienne's character design came after I started working on the song "Plus de Demain," but the final version of the song came after I had locked how Étienne would look (there was a bit of mutual influence in my decision-making).
For his character design, I was inspired by the artists of the 60s and 70s of both French chanson and early electronic music. I liked the idea of someone inhabiting that world from an aesthetic perspective, not only musically. "Plus de Demain" is also, in a way, mourning the post-war optimism of a peaceful Europe, so it would make sense that Étienne would want to live in that world, even if symbolically.
With how things are changing at SUNO, and me needing a break from music production, I think he will be a one-off artist, but I did enjoy exploring his soundscape.

Meet Maria Bianchi🌻
Maria Bianchi is a Swiss-Italian model and singer from Lugano, Switzerland. In her early 20s she moved to Milan to pursue modelling professionally, having modeled for big fashion brands and new designers alike.
It was during one of these fashion shows for a new designer that she was invited to perform live, which led to her pursuing music professionally. She has since released music of her own, including the song "L'Oblio."
She currently lives in Milan with her husband, singer-songwriter Luciano Parisi, and their newborn daughter Raffaella.
(Maria Bianchi is a fictional artist created by neonFortuna)
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Behind the neonPersona:
First, I would like to credit Aisling Camps as the designer of the black macramé sweater Maria is "wearing." I came across that image and I just loved the look, so I used the original image to generate the first two images in GPT Image 2 of Maria in the art gallery.
Second, I would like to thank the people that clicked and listened to the song "L'Oblio." It is now the song with the most views on my channel, and although YouTube has changed how views are counted, for a small channel like mine that is impressive, so thanks.
Now, about Maria... Maria was created months ago because of the song "Per Raffaella." The song is sung by a male voice, Luciano Parisi, with a female voice singing the last stanza, which at the time I attributed to Maria Bianchi, mother of Raffaella and wife of Luciano. That song was made for EuroReVision, so I envisioned something like Lithuania 2018, with Maria suddenly on the stage with Luciano, adding her voice to the song, making it not only about Luciano promising to love his daughter unconditionally, but about both parents. At the time I imagined Maria being a singer in her own right, with her own career independent from Luciano, and wanting to work on another song in Italian, I decided to make something that could belong to her. I did not sample her voice from "Per Raffaella," so there might be some differences between the two.
Before the big SUNO update, I'm finishing a couple of songs, and one of them I'm thinking of attributing to her. It's a different register, but the vocal timbre is similar in both songs (a bit of a limitation of SUNO, as I did not sample "L'Oblio" to produce it), and there are a couple of other elements that sort of make it a Maria Bianchi song... I haven't decided yet, nor have I finished it, so it may end up as my second song in Mirandese and never be ready for release.

Meet Dualliste🍒
Dualliste is a duo composed of Ukrainian-born twins Pavlo Melnyk (vocals and drums) and Aleksii Melnyk (guitar and keyboard) from Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. Their music mixes nu metal and alt-rock with dark pop and moody electronic textures.
They've released two singles, "La Mer Ne Respond Pas" and "Les Cerisiers."
(Dualliste is a fictional band created by neonFortuna)
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Behind the neonPersona:
I made up Dualliste originally because I thought people were creating fake artists to submit their songs to EuroReVision.
I already had "La Mer Ne Répond Pas" written and I thought about submitting it for Luxembourg. The problem is that Luxembourg is a landlocked country, no sea, so for their backstory I thought about making them a couple of friends, sons of Portuguese migrants who had come to Luxembourg in the 2010s and started a metal band.
When I decided to give all my personas a visual component, I thought it would make sense for Dualliste to be twin brothers, with the background changing for them to be of Ukrainian descent, due to Pavlo (the one without glasses) looking, to me, a bit like Ivan Stepanishchev of the Ukrainian band Molodi, which was totally unintentional, as Pavlo's character reference sheet is based on Aleksii's (meaning that Aleksii technically was born first).
Changing their origin didn't change much about the rest of the bio, but it did make "La Mer" retroactively (sort of) about the Sea of Azov, as I ended up, like Molodi, making the hometown of Dualliste Mariupol, Ukraine.

Meet Márinho Leão🦭
Born and raised in Machico, Madeira, Portugal.
Mário or Márinho as he likes to be called, is a tour guide in Funchal, having worked for Madeira Secrets & Stories for over 20 years.
He is also known among locals for his accordion-driven Rock-Pimba performances at Funchal's summer arraiais.
He lives in Funchal with his wife Sofia and their teenage daughter and son, Catarina and Paulo.
(Márinho Leão is a fictional artist created by neonFortuna)
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Behind the neonPersona:
Márinho's single "Mother Foca"/"Mother Seal" is up to be released tomorrow and I wanted to introduce the man or should I say, the fictional persona.
Since "Mother Foca" was made specifically for EuroReVision with the focus on it being a song in the Pimba genre, Márinho (or rather his first iterations) were born and developed alongside the song. He is from Madeira because the Mediterranean monk seal is native to the archipelago and also because the song necessitated a seaside location for the theme of escaping your life and coming back to that summer vacation spot you always came back to.
The other details, like the day job, exist because, with maybe one exception, none of my personas are glamorous singers with fans all over the world and platinum singles. I find it more interesting if they are more like the artists in the less glamorous national finals across Europe (the ones that aren't Melfest, UMK or Sanremo), where a big chunk of them are hopefuls that compete to try to find their place in the music industry, pretty much normal people that love to sing or to play music and that still need a day job to keep doing what they love to do. Márinho would have been one of them, but alas, no EuroReVision-Festival-da-Canção equivalent for him (ReFestival da Canção?), so he has to keep being who he has been: a normal guy that loves to play the accordion and to have fun with the crowd during the warm nights of the Madeiran summer.

⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Behind the neonPersonas:
I've mentioned that I've been having fun character building the aliases I used for EuroReVision SUMMERHIT and HEATWAVE. I had made 3 aliases initially for EuroReVision 2026 too and I've decided, mostly for completion sake, to also character build the personas I made for the first contest and create 3 more aliases for the songs I submitted as altFortuna at the time.
To be honest these characters are likely just going to be one-off personas, although I do have a song in the unfinished pile for the Dualliste persona and another one in Italian that I'm thinking on attributing to Maria Bianchi.
I'm unsure when I'm going to finish them, I've been feeling stuck regarding AI music production. Something strange happened with me, my ear has become attuned to plosives and everything I've generated has plosives on them. I tried cleaning some songs with Cakewalk Sonar by following the available tutorials, maybe I just don't know what I'm doing, but I can't seem to fix any of the plosives with the equalizers. I've even managed to thin the entire vocals trying to remove them and the plosives are still there...
A song doesn't need to be perfect, it needs to exist... I had this mantra when working on "Dama de l Monte" and I've been coming back to it these days, thinking if I should just pull the trigger and release the Dualliste song, plosives included, as I really love how it came out.

Meet Cherry Marlow:
Born in the 70s, Cherry Marlow always dreamed of being a star of the telly, but being born in Manchester to working class parents made that dream feel far away. She didn't give up though. Although she wasn't able to get a proper education, she started her career doing amateur panto in her teens . It didn't pay, but she learned through experience.
In her late teens she packed her bags and headed south, chasing whatever stage would have her. Theatrical revues, chorus lines, the occasional go-go dancing gig.
As she got older Cherry did a bit of everything — modelling, dancing, backing vocals for other singers, singing live in bars. There was never a stage she turned down, always chasing the stardom and working her ass off in the meantime. In her late 40s she started performing on cruise ships, where she fell in love with the Mediterranean sea. She eventually decided to move to Spain, Marbella, performing live across the Costa del Sol.
At 52 she adds another job to her long list — solo singer.
People ask who is Cherry Marlow? She is still that working class lass from Manchester, someone who never stopped working, someone who loves to entertain and to make life a little brighter to everyone.
(Cherry Marlow is a fictional artist created by neonFortuna)
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Behind the neonPersona:
I made up Cherry Marlow as the persona to submit "Villa Blu" to the EuroReVision HEATWAVE 2026 contest: eurorevision.eu/country/mt
I think I overdid it a bit, but as I said on a previous post, I've been having fun making up my own oc's on the side.

Meet Barquinha:
Born in the Algarve and based in Lisbon, Pedro Mourinho is a college student known on TikTok as Barquinha for his acoustic guitar covers. His debut single “Rua da Ponte” marks his first step as a singer-songwriter, a song about the quiet courage it takes to love openly.
(Barquinha is a fictional artist created by neonFortuna)
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
Behind the neonPersona:
I've had a lot of fun character building artists based on the songs I submitted to EuroRevision Summerhit, so I kept doing it for Heatwave. I also had already started working on his bio and making images with gpt image 2, so things where already in motion before the contest started.
I know it's a silly side project, but on the other hand working on Ariandel's bio, the persona I used for "Three Steps" as inspired me to make the song called "Glass Hall", same for Nbrineiro & Heráis(Dama de l Monte) resulting in two unfinished songs in Mirandese and I've recently been trying to workshop lyrics in French for the band Dualliste, the alias I used to submit the song "La Mer Ne Répond Pas".
Barquinha for now feels like it's going to be a one-song kind of persona, but maybe one day I feel inspired to return to him.
I haven't released "Glass Hall" yet on YouTube, but you can hear it on:

EuroReVision: SUMMERHIT 2026 is coming to an end, last 24 to vote on the songs you most enjoy in the final:
eurorevision.eu/
"Dama de l Monte", performed by Nbrineiro & Heráis is the only song I've got on the finals, but I made a couple of backstage photos also including my two other artists, Ariandel and Calculators Assemble.
At the end of the day these images are fake and also an idealized idea of what we would like Eurovision to be, a contest of music where people from different backgrounds can meet one another, that will support one another and build friendships because they are a bunch of weirdos that love music.
Maybe there was a time where that was what Eurovision was, but that isn't what it is today, not what it has become. Sadly also the necessity of turning every single interaction into a post or a video to promote oneself, to garner more votes for one's country, has made the demonstrations of friendship that still happen feel hollow and fake. At least to me...
I probably should end in a positive note... But what's more positive than the 30 songs competing in the final of EuroReVision SUMMERHIT 2026? So check them out and vote on your favorites😉
