We’re delighted to wrap up a truly enchanting 2025 for the Magic Toothies!
One of the highlights of 2025 for the Magic Toothies is the exciting news that we’ve been funded by NZ on Air for our next song, “Sweetie Doggie”. We’re incredibly grateful to NZ on Air for this wonderful opportunity. This milestone means the world to us and represents a significant step forward. @nzonairmusic @nzonair_tamariki
“Sweetie Doggie” is an excerpt from our upcoming Book Three. The book and song will be released in March 2026, available in both English and Filipino. This heartwarming story explores the joy dogs bring into our lives.
The Book Three idea started when I was recovering from an injury. My youngest daughter, Javrielle, surprised us with TokTok, our sweetie doggie – a furry princess! – saying it would help me heal faster and she’d always wanted one. Initially, I thought having a puppy would be manageable while I was off work. However, my physio raised concerns when I mentioned the puppy, and she wasn’t wrong! 😅 TokTok brought sleepless nights, chewed-up jandals, zoomies, and accidents galore. The teething phase was chaotic – she’d bite and chew everything, including our Christmas tree decorations (we had to remove the lower half to save the tree!). We felt like giving up, but the love and magic TokTok brought changed everything. The more time we spend with her, the more inseparable we feel. We fell head over heels in love with her and soon welcomed another fur baby, named Babie, into our home❤️.
