Kegels are not for everyone.

As a pelvic floor physiotherapist, I often meet patients whose symptoms worsened—not because exercises don’t work, but because the wrong exercise was done at the wrong time.

Kegel exercises were originally designed for pelvic floor muscle weakness.
However, pelvic floor health is not just about strength. It is influenced by:

• Hormonal balance (estrogen, thyroid, cortisol)
• Stress and emotional load
• Breathing patterns and posture
• Muscle tone (weak vs tight)

In conditions such as pelvic pain, vaginismus, tight pelvic floor, or hormone-related symptoms, blindly doing Kegels can delay recovery.

This is why pelvic rehabilitation should always begin with assessment and education before exercise, even in virtual care.

At Hormonal Wings, we focus on helping individuals understand their pelvic floor and hormonal health first—so movement supports healing, not discomfort.

📌 Virtual consultations and OPD sessions available.

This is Not Physiotherapy – A Public Awareness Call by Dr. Deeksha Singh, Hormonalwings

In today’s social media-driven world, it’s deeply concerning to witness the rising trend of so-called “chiropractors” or “bone-crackers” who are nothing but content creators, misleading the public with viral videos of forceful spinal manipulations. These dramatic clips often show intense twisting, popping, and cracking sounds—marketed as instant fixes for musculoskeletal pain. Let me say this loud and clear as a certified OBGYN Physiotherapist: THIS IS NOT PHYSIOTHERAPY.

I have had multiple patients walk into my OPD after watching such videos, asking, “Is this good for back pain?” or “Should I also try this adjustment technique?” And heartbreakingly, within my own family, a relative fell into the trap of such unsafe treatment. She consulted an unverified “chiropractor” near our home. Instead of recovery, her mild pain worsened drastically, leaving her with restricted mobility and persistent nerve-related symptoms that now require long-term rehabilitation.

What’s happening here is dangerous—a misrepresentation of manual therapy, without any scientific backing or anatomical understanding. These influencers are not registered physiotherapists or licensed healthcare providers. Their approach may appear effective in a 30-second video but lacks the individualized assessment, ethical practice, and evidence-based protocol that a trained physiotherapist follows.

Here’s what you must know:
• Manual therapy in physiotherapy is performed only after clinical examination and diagnosis.
• Sudden thrust techniques without understanding underlying conditions like osteoporosis, disc herniation, or nerve impingement can lead to serious complications.
• Certified physiotherapists are medically trained to identify red flags and adapt treatment based on patient safety.

Why choose physiotherapy over content-driven chiropractic stunts?
1. Personalized care: Tailored exercises, pain-relief modalities, postural correction, and long-term prevention.
2. Certified professionals: Physiotherapists undergo 4.5+ years of medical education and clinical internships.
3. Safety first: Techniques are based on anatomy, physiology, and patient history—not social media trends.

At Hormonalwings, I urge every individual to verify before you trust. Physiotherapy is a medical science, not a dramatic performance. Do not risk your spine, joints, or nerves to unregulated hands.

Stay informed. Stay safe. Respect physiotherapy.

On May 6th, 2025, the spirit of India stood tall once again as our armed forces launched Operation Sindoor—a swift and decisive military strike targeting terrorist strongholds in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. This operation was not merely about military might; it was about justice, resilience, and the collective pulse of a nation that refuses to be broken by terror.

At HormonalWings, we stand in full solidarity with this mission. We salute not just the brave hearts who flew into danger zones but also the families behind them—especially the women who stand silently, bearing the weight of fear, sacrifice, and faith.

Why Operation Sindoor Matters to Every Indian

The Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, shook the nation, killing 26 civilians and scarring families forever. Operation Sindoor was India’s answer—calculated, courageous, and culturally powerful. Named after the sacred red sindoor worn by married Indian women as a symbol of love and strength, this operation reminds us that the fight for peace is both external and internal.

HormonalWings recognizes sindoor not just as a cultural symbol, but as a mark of resilience. For centuries, it has represented the strength of Indian womanhood. Operation Sindoor is a tribute to that strength—carried forward by our soldiers and the families who empower them.

Women: The Silent Backbone of National Strength

Behind every uniform is a woman—whether it’s a mother, wife, sister, or daughter. These women carry hope in one hand and heartbreak in the other. They wait, pray, nurture, and stand strong so that their loved ones can defend our nation.

As a women’s health and physiotherapy initiative, HormonalWings honors their courage and emotional labor. We believe in healing not just wounds of the body, but also those of the heart. We see Operation Sindoor as a mission that unites the visible and invisible warriors of India.

Our Role as a Civilian Health Initiative

We may not wear camouflage, but at HormonalWings, we serve the nation through care, awareness, and empowerment. We work with:
• Military families in rehabilitation and emotional recovery
• Women dealing with anxiety, hormonal imbalance, and stress related to deployment and loss
• Mothers preparing for childbirth while their partners serve
• Widows and daughters of martyrs who deserve dignified health and support

Our Pledge: Healing for Her, Honor for Him

Operation Sindoor is a moment in history, but our mission at HormonalWings is lifelong. We pledge to continue supporting India’s strength through the healing of its women—physically, emotionally, and hormonally.

Jai Hind. Jai Nari Shakti. Jai Sindoor.

𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒈𝒊𝒇𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔… 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔, 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆.

This Royal Enfield Metro 350 wasn’t just a birthday gift for Anuj; it was a piece of my heart, a symbol of how much he means to me. 🖤🏍️

And then, in a beautiful twist, he gifted me something even more precious—the courage to ride it. From the moment I first held those handlebars, I felt something powerful—freedom, strength, and a deep connection to my dad’s dream. He was a Bullet lover, and I grew up admiring that passion. Today, as I ride, I carry a part of him with me. 💫

Thank you, Anuj, for not just being my partner but my greatest teacher, my biggest supporter, and the one who always pushes me to become the best version of myself. This is what love looks like—equality, respect, and shared dreams. 🤍

𝑨 𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆

As a child, with eyes open wide,
I watched my father, full of pride.
A Bullet beneath him, roaring strong,
Its rhythm like a heartbeat, steady and long.

He rode with grace, fierce yet free,
And oh, how I wished—that could be me.
But little hands, too small to steer,
Held only dreams, held only fear.

Years have passed, the time feels new,
A dream once his, now shining through.
For Anuj, my love, I chose the same,
A Bullet to ride, to cherish, to claim.

And as he rode with that same pride,
A whisper of childhood stirred inside.
But fate had plans, a twist so bright,
He took my hand and said, "Let’s ride."

With shaking hands, I gripped the bar,
The echoes of my past not far.
And as the wheels began to spin,
I felt my father deep within.

Now, my mother’s joy, my love’s proud gaze,
Watch me ride through life’s new phase.
No longer just a wishful sight,
I ride with love, I ride with light.

Two men, one path, their strength combined,
A father’s dream, a husband’s guide.
And as the engine hums its tune,
I feel him near, beneath the moon.

A Bullet once his, a Bullet now mine,
A circle complete, across love and time.

— For Dad, Mom, for Anuj, for
Late post, but forever etched in my heart. 💖🏍️💨 #FirstBullet #DreamsFulfilled #GiftOfLove #PowerOfTwo #RidingTogether #ForeverMyPerson
