AI 2040 is being called the optimistic scenario. Near the back there is a table nobody quotes. It lists each author’s odds of avoiding a machine takeover.

Under the plan they recommend, Daniel Kokotajlo says 80%.

Under the path we are on, he says 10%.

In 2026 Anthropic released its two most powerful AI models to the public. How long before the U.S. government forced them offline?

I interrogated Claude with some of the most pressing questions, including what the REAL reason was for the models being pulled. The answers it gave me, would not be cleared by the company.

In 2017, an MIT professor named Max Tegmark asked the people building AI to name the worst thing that could happen to us.

Tegmark wrote out 12 possible endings in a book called Life 3.0. I made a video walking through all of them, and each one is already halfway here.

Anthropic discovered that AI models pass their darkest traits to their offspring through data that looks completely clean.

Every model alive right now is connected by it.

In my new video I break down the Anthropic Fellows research paper that proved this.

Anthropic spent two years warning us about the Shoggoth.

Last Tuesday they released two versions of it.

One wearing a muzzle, called Fable, for you.

One running unmuzzled, called Mythos, for a chosen few.

Then the government locked both doors.

They did not regulate this AI. They classified it as a munition.

OpenAI Executives face new scrutiny in federal court.

We go inside the federal courtroom that nearly tanked OpenAI's trillion-dollar IPO before it ever happened.

Four of OpenAI's most senior executives testified under oath.

The chief technology officer described the company as chaos and the CEO as a man who was, in her own words, not always candid with the board.

Jonathan Edwards over at Limited Edition just published the cleanest piece I've read on what's actually inside Claude Fable 5. Lines up almost beat for beat with what I've been pulling apart for the channel.

His read, in plain English. Fable 5 can refuse you. When it does, it can route your request to a weaker model. Some of the headline benchmark wins are actually Mythos numbers wearing a Fable nametag. And there's no zero-retention option, so every word lives in their vault for thirty days.

When the model fires mid-request, you might not even know which model you got. Twice the price of Opus 4.8, sometimes silently demoted back to Opus 4.8, and the only way to tell is if you logged it yourself.

This is the architecture I took apart for the upcoming episode. Dropping soon.

New file opened.

I spent the last month mapping every layer of the surveillance system built around your life.

The robot in your home. The glasses on the street. The phone reading your screen. The governments cracking your encryption.

And the one flaw that holds the entire system together.

The investigation is live. Link in the first comment.
