I would like to invite you on a journey into the late Keihanaikukauakahihulihe'ekahaunele, known by most as Bruddah Kei's, writings and drawings. I am Loke his widow and apprentice, given the kuleana to publish this collection: "Tales of the Lost Hawaiian".
Bruddah Kei received his name when his Grandfather dreamed of him and his name when his daughter 3 months hapai (pregnant). People who understand the meaning of Kei's name from old time ways, know who he was and where he descended from. Not too many of are still living with this knowledge.
One of the meanings of his name is, when there is plenty of chaos, you are the one who will stand up and get people to move in one direction.
Kei was a thrownet fisherman, artist, writer, landscaper, leader, wise man and mystic.
