My dearest sister, Osunsami Iyunade Oluwanifemi

Today, as you stand on that stage in your academic gown, cap perched proudly, receiving the fruits of your labour, my heart swells with uncontainable joy and pride. Congratulations on your convocation! 🎓 You did it! All those late nights, endless readings, sacrifices, prayers, and moments of doubt have led to this glorious moment. You have not just earned a degree you have proven your resilience, your brilliance, and your unyielding determination.

Watching you grow from that little girl who used to follow me around to this accomplished woman stepping boldly into the world fills me with awe. May this milestone be the beginning of even greater chapters: doors opening wide, favour locating you, wisdom guiding every decision, and success chasing you relentlessly. The world is yours to conquer, and I have no doubt you will do it with grace, excellence, and that beautiful smile that lights up every room.

I love you more than words can say, and I’m so incredibly proud to call you my sister. Shine on, keep soaring, and know that your big sister is always in your corner cheering the loudest.

To my incredible mother,

Mama, thank you. From the depths of my soul, thank you. You carried us, nurtured us, prayed for us without ceasing, and held the family together through every storm. Your strength, your faith, your endless love, and the many unseen sacrifices you made are the very foundation upon which we all stand today. Seeing my sister graduate is in large part because of you, your encouragement, your provision, your midnight prayers, and your belief in us even when we doubted ourselves. You are the real hero behind this celebration. May God continue to strengthen you, reward you abundantly, and grant you the joy of seeing all your children arise and call you blessed. I appreciate you more than I can ever express. I love you forever, Mama.

To my beloved late father,
Daddy, though you are no longer here in body, your presence is felt so strongly today. I know you’re watching from glory, smiling with that proud look you always had whenever we achieved something. You laid the groundwork with your hard work, your integrity, your wisdom, and your deep love for us. Every step my sister takes today carries the imprint of the values you instilled in us. Thank you for the legacy you left one of courage, faith, and love. We miss you terribly, but we honour you by living the life you prayed we would live. Rest in perfect peace, knowing your children are rising and making you proud. Your memory remains a blessing to us always.

To my family both here and in eternity thank you for being the wind beneath our wings. Today is a testimony of God’s faithfulness through all of you.
