Metal / Hardcore / Punk / Pioneers of Modern Metal-Core / Est. 1995 Washington, DC!
"A bastard child born of the mid-90s punk/metal/hardcore movement, Washington, DC's DARKEST HOUR combine the passion, energy, and soul of punk/hardcore with the style, speed, vengeance, and fury of melodic speed/thrash/death metal. DARKEST HOUR have helped defined the entire New Wave of American Metal sound as one of the pioneers of modern metal/core. A sound that gave the metal and hardcore/punk world the revitalization it surely needed. This style blended the raw, hardcore punk of the ‘80s, with the Scandinavian death metal of the ‘90s and forged a sound that would later become the template for modern metal. Since their inception 27 years ago, Darkest Hour has released 9 studio full-length albums (via 11 different record labels), appeared in major motion pictures, US television shows, video games, and have toured the world extensively covering 6 of the 7 continents."

Thank you to ESP guitars for over two decades of support. @espguitars ❤️
It means the world to us that a company who makes world class - heavy metal - guitar - riff shred machines - has believed so much in our band Darkest Hour and our vision of melodic heavy metal / metalcore (or whatever you call it).
I spent some time filming in LA this past week to make videos that will promote my current ESP LTD MSV1 signature model Arrow with the help and guidance of Tony and the amazing staff at ESP.
If you have not got your hands on one of these guitars for your shred arsenal I would suggest you get on it! …I mean these bad boys are limited and they are no normal LTDs…so many details that make them perfect.
Pick one up, look out for some melodic death / Metalcore video awesomeness from ESP, and some NEW MUSIC from Darkest Hour…coming soon!

Eliran Kantor: Suffer Divine', 2026, @elirankantor for @darkesthourdudes
"In 2007 Darkest Hour and I first attempted to collaborate on what became 'Deliver Us', so almost twenty years later I'm happy we finally got to work on a record together.
This special occasion also brought ten additional single-color pieces that will be revealed once the album is out.
New single is out now via @mnrkheavy and can be streamed everywhere"
