Yali Kalaikoodam is a community-led cultural initiative dedicated to preserving and promoting Tamil heritage through the traditional art of Parai Isai (Parai music) and dance. We offer classes to individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and genders—ensuring equal opportunity and access to learn this ancient art form. Our sessions are rooted in inclusivity, respect, and empowerment, fostering a sense of identity, pride, and social unity among participants. As a volunteer-driven team, we believe in breaking social barriers and providing a safe, welcoming environment where art becomes a tool for transformation and connection.
