For over 10 years, I dedicated myself to the warehousing and supply chain sector. That chapter taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of teamwork under pressure. But deep down, I knew I wanted to take on a new challenge — one that would push me to learn, innovate, and protect the future of technology.
That’s when I made the leap into cybersecurity.
Transitioning careers wasn’t easy. It required countless late nights, studying concepts I had never touched before, and trusting that hard work would eventually pay off. But I kept going, and I’m proud to say the journey has been worth every step.
I have to give credit to Southern Crescent Technical College, where I’ve gained the knowledge, mentorship, and hands-on experience that made this transition possible. Their program has not only given me the technical skills to thrive in cybersecurity, but also the confidence to re-imagine what’s possible for my career.
Today, I stand at the crossroads of my past and future — carrying the work ethic from over a decade in warehousing and combining it with a growing expertise in cybersecurity. My story is proof that it’s never too late to pivot, learn, and chase new dreams.
