Rob Reiner sadly is no longer with us. There are some people who you may never meet, that will never know you even existed, but will affect your life for decades by the simple act of the art they gave the world. For me, its Stand By Me. The movie is absolutely perfect. I watched this movie dozens of times since the 80s and with my kids when they were toddlers and again with them as adolescents and again as teens. And I'm sure I'll watch it several more times with them and their children as time passes.

I dont have the words with me now to say all that I want to, but I'm hurt and my family's hurt and I'm sure his family and friends and so many millions of his fans are hurt. It's never a good day to lose a legend. May he never be forgotten.

These crazy Canadian punkers arent playing standard chords so this was really hard to figure out. I learned it, in a way, playing mostly variations of power chords following the root. It's beautiful. Maybe me wanna try harder.

It's my birthday and today I went for a walk. My daughter took this first picture of me I took the rest. It's been a great day. Finishing it off watching One Piece and then maybe streaming some Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment.
