Floyd Marshall Jr
Floyd Marshall began his career as an aspiring fitness model and quickly transitioned into acting. After doing various student and indie films Floyd started his own production company, Gazelle Films, where he wrote and produced a full length film, two short films and two stage plays. After the success of those ventures Floyd went on to create the Philadelphia Independent Film Awards, an award show and film festival which ran for five years. He started a podcast, A Conversation With Floyd Marshall , where he interviews some of the most talented people in the HollyWood and Independent Film space. Floyd is also a published author with his book Film Bizness, which is dedicated to teaching new filmmakers the business of film. Floyd is also a mentor for Start With 8. An amazing program geared towards the mentoring of women of color in film. Floyd is also a board member of the Philadelphia Philm Factory, an organization which teaches young people the filmmaking business from A to Z.
