Happy Easter!

Also my first finished minis of 2025! I know short form video has been shown but I do take fancy pictures too and wanted to share them with you all.

Here we have: the Goliath extended gang for Necromunda, the Necron Heirotek Circle for Killteam and some of the Solar Auxilia infantry for Legions Imperialis... so not one single unit for either Warhammer 40k or Age of Sigmar!

It's that time again, Art Vs Artist 2024! a chance to introduce myself and show off my art for anyone new to the channel, or who simply wants to see it: My name is James, I'm the fellow with the Moustache(the lady is my girlfriend Sabrina who I met through the hobby, so she deserves to be in the picture too!), and these are some of my favourite tabletop miniatures that I've painted this year

Its mostly Warhammer minis this year, but I have other brands, Gundams etc and sometimes work on terrain, just this past 12 months has not seen a lot of that.

I hope the following year is a good one for hobby!

Happy New Year!

Finishing the year with a summary of everything I've painted this year(see pictures): its been a good one for painting minis, and I hope that continues into 2024!

I'm not making 'hobby resolutions' as I tried that in 2020 and that didn't go so well... my vague plan though is paint more in the way of squads/troops rather than single minis: I still want the standard to be high but hoping to figure out batch painting processes that should help with larger numbers of minis per paint session.

That said not putting any pressure on myself to do more all the time, if I need a break thats fine too - it's a hobby and its meant to be fun!

So I find myself with a couple of dilemma's: both concern sound on shorts. I understand there are copyright issues but I've been trying very hard to stick to the provided audio libraries from each social media platform: its why if you follow me everywhere you'll sometimes hear different audio on YouTube as compared to say TikTok or Instagram.

That said my first dilemma is lately Ive been using "viral" audio like the "work of art(sketchy)" track, which is leading to way more views - problem is its not very me, I'd rather be uploading with some 80's gothic/death metal for example... so should I continue to go with whats popular? get more views? or stick to what I like and find a smaller audience thats more in line with what I like and do in my hobbies?

Second Dilemma is simpler: Ive had a video unlisted, it seems an audio track has either been removed or the consent for using on YouTube shorts has been removed - thats fine, I don't have a problem there - but it means my December 3rd "saturday wip" short is unlisted and going to be deleted in 30 days. If I edit it and relist it as a new video as YouTube suggest, it will be badly out of sequence and make no sense in the context of current work - it's painting my GST/Necron "Mexicrons" and some Slyvaneth Tree Dryads... So should I relist it out of sequence? or just put it down to experience? let it go etc...

I think I need more coffee....
