Everything is "figureoutable." Get a better roadmap towards living the deeply rooted life you're after by subscribing to this channel.
Whether you've got the knowledge, tools, time or space to do the things you've always wanted to do, let's learn to think outside the box and come up with new solutions together.
I became "Anne of All Trades" out of necessity. 10 years ago I got my first pet, planted my first seed and picked up my first tool. With no background in farming or making things, I wanted to learn to raise my own food, fix things when they break, and build the things I needed. Today, I travel the country teaching furniture building, permaculture farming, and sustainability techniques I've learned by trying, failing, and repeating. A lot can change in a decade, and your new chapter starts now.

The best kinds of friends are those who push us to continue learning and growing.
Our friends Bobby and Sherrie from @BlacksTropicalHomestead came last weekend to help us reclaim the Enchanted Tiki Forest and taught us all the magic of growing banana trees! It was such a hoot to spend quality time with two people we love so much.
My proudest accomplishments during their visit were getting Sherrie to milk my goat, pet my cow, and venture into the forest, risking ticks, snakes, and turtles in hopes of finding some morels.
We played music, ate amazing home grown food, and had deep conversation in between sweating our little tushies off working toward a common goal. These are the moments we were made for.
Check out the super fun video they made during their visit by clicking below:

I wrote a book for YOU, fellow chaos monsters!
It’s a practical guide in figuring out how to become the sort of person you want to be come, by spending your time doing the kinds of things you want to be doing.
The goal of the book/project was to focus on creating time for what was most important to us, better managing our time, and gaining a better understanding of motivation, self-discipline, and consistency, and learning how to use all of them to our advantage in moving our big goals and dreams forward, even when we feel stuck.
Before publishing, I wanted to test the advice and exercises in my book and it’s accompanying workbook, so I created a 12 week group project that 55 people joined me in completing this past fall.
It was so positively impactful to so many folks that we decided to offer another cohort experience this spring, and it’s starting next week!
Join me, LIVE, every week, for 12 weeks, to figure out the best possible path forward from where you’re at, right now.

Help me finish my book!
That’s right, I’m writing a book, Heartache, Habits and Hope, and I need your help!
Over the last decade, I’ve read countless books on time management and productivity, I’ve subscribed to all the podcasts, I’ve done lots of therapy, and realized one common theme in all the advice I’ve sought: it was all coming from people whose lives look very, very different from mine, and their advice didn’t work as well for me as it’s seemed to work for others.
Knowing better and doing better are not the same, I’ve found.
As a full-time entrepreneur, part-time farmer, and expert chaos creator, I’ve spent my adult life finding creative ways to solve the problems I seem so good at creating.
And though I’ll be the first to admit I’m not an expert, I’ve learned a lot along the way that has helped me better juggle my many interests, hopes, and big dreams.
Before publishing my book, I want to test the advice and exercises that have been so helpful for me with people like you, who share similar struggles, to ensure what I’m putting out into the world is *genuinely helpful,* rather than just adding to all the noise already very present in our collective search for peace.
And that’s where you come in: If you find yourself in the midst of chaos and want to find a way out, or if you just want to help me write a better book, please join me on a 3 month interactive online journey towards creating a real, honest, helpful guide to regaining control and moving dreams and goals forward, together.
Practical solutions to manage chaos and get stuff done are a just click away.

“In 2 weeks things will slow down and then I can____.”
This is a LIE we all need to stop telling ourselves and others.
Do you feel like you’re always putting out fires, rushing from one thing to the next and never getting ahead?
I felt this way most of my life, and the fires only grew hotter and more frequent when I started farming.
It comes from a tendency all of us have (to varying degrees) to overfill our schedules and live without margins.
We leave exactly enough time assuming everything will go perfectly, then find ourselves stressed to the max when we hit traffic/something breaks/we have to tend to a sick kid or injured animal and everything starts falling apart, all at once.
And when everything’s burning, it’s tough to find the presence of mind to locate the faucet and fill a bucket; much less decide which fire to douse first.
I’ve read countless books on time management and productivity, listened to all the podcasts, and done lots of therapy, but that advice is from people whose lives look really different than mine and hasn’t ever seemed to work as well for me as it has for others.
Knowing better and doing better are not the same, it turns out.
As a full-time business owner, part-time farmer, and expert chaos creator, I’ve spent my adult life finding creative ways to solve the problems I seem so good at… creating.
And in that, I’d like to help you figure out how to do what’s truly important to you, too.
So I’m launching a 3 month online group project in hopes of refining the book I’m writing by testing my advice against YOUR struggles.
We get one shot at creating a life worth living and this project, called Heartache, Habits and Hope is aimed at helping you do just that.
It will run July 11-Sept 26, with weekly online meetings that can be attended live or watched online later. Each week, you’ll get workbook exercises/ book pages to help you identify next best steps. You can share as much or little as you’re comfortable, ask questions of me and the rest of the group, seek accountability, and we’ll all learn and grow together.
