50,000 subscribers. Wow. 🥹❤️

If someone had told me two years ago that one day I would be writing this, I honestly don’t know if I would have believed them.
On January 6th, 2024, I paid for my first ring light. (#18,000) 

The next day, January 7th, 2024, I posted my very first YouTube video.
I didn’t have a perfect camera. I didn’t have a studio. I didn’t know all the YouTube strategies people talk about today.

I just knew one thing…
I had knowledge that could help someone, and I decided to stop keeping it to myself.

That one decision changed my life.
I showed up with what I had. Some videos did well. Some videos barely got seen.
There were days I wondered if anyone even cared. There were moments I questioned myself. There were days I was tired, discouraged, overwhelmed and tempted to slow down.
But somehow, I kept pressing “Publish.”
One video at a time.
One subscriber at a time. One lesson at a time.
There were so many days I would look at creators with 50,000 subscribers and think, “Will I ever get there?”

It felt so far away.
It almost looked impossible.
But today…
I’m writing this with tears of gratitude because we actually did it.

50,000 people.
50,000 real human beings who decided that something I shared was worth watching.
That still feels unreal.
This journey has given me so much more than subscribers.

It has given me confidence.
It has given me opportunities I never imagined.
It has connected me with amazing people from different parts of the world.

Most importantly, it has reminded me that God can do incredible things with small beginnings.
To everyone who has watched a video… Liked… Commented… Shared my content… Bought a class… Joined my membership… Supported my business… Recommended my channel… Or simply prayed for me…
Thank you.

You may never fully understand how much your support has meant to me.
You’ve been part of this journey, and I don’t take that for granted.

To my amazing WhatsApp communities, YouTube family, students, customers and everyone who has believed in me…
Thank you for growing with me.
This milestone belongs to all of us.
And if you’re reading this while chasing a dream that still feels impossible…

I was reading John 7 today, and something really stood out to me.

The people were arguing about Jesus, and one of them said,
“How can the Messiah come from Galilee?” (John 7:41)

The moment I read that, I remembered another verse I’d seen before:
“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” (John 1:46)

And I just sat there thinking…
People almost missed Jesus simply because of where they thought He came from.
Nazareth wasn’t even a famous city. It was a tiny village with only a few hundred people, nothing significant about them. Galilee also had a reputation for being ordinary. The religious elites looked down on people from there as uneducated and insignificant.

What’s interesting is that Jesus was actually born in Bethlehem, exactly as the Scriptures foretold (Micah 5 vs 2). But because He grew up in Nazareth, people assumed they already knew His story. They judged Him by His hometown instead of taking the time to discover who He really was.

That really made me think.
It made me realize how easy it is for us to do the same thing today.

Sometimes we look at ourselves and think, “Nothing good can come from my family.” “Nothing good can come from my village.” “Nothing good can come from someone like me.”

Or we look at someone else and quietly write them off because they don’t have the right background, the right connections, the right education, or the right image.
Yet God chose to raise the Savior of the world in a place that most people looked down on🤦🏽‍♀️.
That tells me God isn’t limited by where we start.

Another thing I loved was Philip’s response when Nathanael asked, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”
He didn’t argue. He didn’t try to prove a point.
He just said,
“Come and see.” John 1vs 46
Sometimes that’s the best response. Instead of judging too quickly, be willing to look a little closer. Give people a chance. Give God room to surprise you.

Today’s reading reminded me not to measure my future by my background, and not to measure other people by theirs either.
God has a habit of bringing extraordinary things out of places and people the world overlooks.

I run a fashion business, and I’m about to say something most fashion designers won’t agree with.

If I were advising a young person in 2026 whose biggest goal is to start making money as quickly as possible, I would not tell them to start with tailoring, hairdressing, shoemaking, or some of the other traditional trades.

Before you misunderstand me, hear me out.

I’m a fashion designer. Sewing has changed my life, built my business, and opened doors for me. So this isn’t coming from someone who looks down on traditional skills.

But if the goal is speed, learning a skill, getting good enough to earn from it, and finding clients quickly, I believe there are better options today.

Take video editing, for example.

You can spend a few weeks learning the fundamentals, start editing your own content, build a portfolio online, and begin attracting clients. Some editors earn $100 or more from a single project.

Now compare that to sewing.

You can’t realistically become a skilled tailor in a few weeks. It takes months, often years of practice before people trust you with their clothes. Every outfit also takes hours or days to produce, meaning your income is tied to the time you spend making each piece.

Traditional skills are still powerful. They can build incredible businesses and lasting wealth. But they usually require more time to master, more proof of competence, and more patience before they begin paying well.

If I were starting from scratch in 2026 and my priority was to earn as quickly as possible, these are the skills I’d seriously consider learning first:

• Video Editing
• AI & Prompt Engineering
• Content Creation & Personal Branding
• Copywriting
• Sales & Digital Marketing

The internet has changed the game.

The people who will thrive over the next decade won’t just have a skill—they’ll have skills that allow them to leverage AI, the internet, and a global marketplace.

That’s where I believe some of the biggest opportunities are today.

I was reading John 6:15 this morning, and something really stood out to me.
Jesus had just fed thousands of people with five loaves of bread and two fish. The miracle was so powerful that the people immediately wanted to make Him king. (Secular uprising) 
But instead of embracing the moment, the Bible says He withdrew by Himself, to go to the mountain and pray. 
That made me pause.
Because if we’re being honest, most of us would have seen that as confirmation. “This is my moment.” “People love me.” “This must be God.” I mean, the people willingly want him as their king. 
But Jesus wasn’t moved by people’s excitement. He wasn’t led by applause. He was led by purpose. He chose to stay focused on the purpose. He chose the place of prayer 🙏🏽. 
And I think that’s a reminder I needed.
Not every opportunity is an assignment. Not every applause means you’re on the right path. Sometimes people can celebrate a version of you that God never called you to become. Sometimes it’s just part of the process, not a destination. 
There are seasons where the wisest thing you can do is step away from the noise, spend time with God, and make sure you’re still walking in His direction, and not be carried away by noise..
I’m learning that staying aligned with God is far more important than being lost in chasing attention and applause.

I was reading John 5 today, and one verse stopped me.

When the religious leaders questioned the man Jesus had just healed for carrying his mat on the Sabbath, he didn’t argue. He didn’t try to explain himself.

He simply said:

“The man who made me well said to me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’”

That hit me.

His confidence wasn’t in himself. It wasn’t in having the perfect explanation. It was in the authority of the One who gave the instruction.

How many times do we hesitate because we’re worried about people’s opinions, when all that really matters is whether God has spoken?

There’s a different kind of boldness that comes from knowing you’re backed by the One who has all authority.

I’m learning that obedience becomes a lot easier when you remember who gave the instruction.

For the longest time, I used to read “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…” and I honestly thought “the Word” was just talking about God’s word. 🤦🏽‍♀️It never crossed my mind that John was actually talking about Jesus Christ.
Then I got to “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14), and it finally clicked. So the word literally is Jesus Christ (John 1:1)
Jesus didn’t just show up in the New Testament. He has always been. He was there in the beginning. Anytime you read that verse again(John 1:1), just replace “word” with “Jesus Christ” and it will make more sense.
One thing I’m realizing is that you can read the same Bible passage for years and still miss something until God opens your understanding. I’m learning too, and whenever I come across something that changes the way I see Scripture, I’ll share it here. I hope you’ll also learn about God with me. Teclar❤️

Looking at everything on my table today made me smile because it reminded me how far God has brought me.

Growing up in a Christian home didn’t automatically mean I had a relationship with God. Mine really started in 2024, when life happened and I had no choice but to run to Him. Looking back now, I can honestly say He has changed me. The anger, bitterness, unforgiveness… He’s still working on me, but I’m definitely not who I used to be.

One thing I also realized is how easy it is to spend money on things that help us grow financially or in business, but somehow we struggle to invest that same time and money into knowing God. I’ve been guilty of that too. I’ve read so many books on money and business, but only a few books that help me grow spiritually.

I don’t want that anymore.

So this is me choosing to know God more. To read my Bible more. To read more Christian books. To grow spiritually just as intentionally as I’ve grown in every other area of my life.
