BLOCK FUSING is the best way to interface a garment! By fusing the entire fabric block before cutting, the process minimizes potential shifting, twisting, or shrinkage of individual pattern pieces, ensuring they are accurate to the original pattern. This method helps maintain the design lines and structure of a garment, leading to a more polished and professional appearance.
The heat from fusing can cause some fabrics, like rayon, to shrink or stretch. By fusing a large block first, any shrinkage is taken care of before the pattern pieces are cut, ensuring they are the correct size and shape.
This method can be used when your interfacing pieces are the same size as your pattern pieces.
Before starting this process, check to make sure your interfacing pieces are the same size as the corresponding pattern piece. Some interfacing pieces may be smaller to reduce bulk in the seam allowance. For those scenarios, block fusing will not work.

Guess what I brought... this is a regular printer that you can convert to sublimate fabrics, t-shirts mugs pillows and soooo much more!! I'm so excited. I was very close in buying the $3,000 dollar DTF printer but my son said start small then build up. Thank god he was around before I pressed the buy button these companies really know how to get you to buy something 😂😂
