Welcome.
I'm Dillon, and this channel is where I work through life out loud.
No pretending.
No guru act.
No perfectly polished answers.
Just honest conversations about what it means to become a better man while navigating business, relationships, health, purpose, and everything in between.
Some videos will challenge you.
Some will make you think.
Some will simply let you know you're not the only one trying to figure life out.
If you're looking for real conversations instead of performative motivation, you're in the right place.
Figuring life out, one conversation at a time.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how much of life gets lost once you start living in your head.
That question, “Who were you before the world hurt you?” always hits me harder than I expect it to.
For a long time, I couldn’t answer it. Not because I didn’t want to. I just genuinely felt that far away from myself.
But when I really sat with it, a few things came up that left a pit in my gut.
I used to let myself feel joy without watching it.
I used to laugh hard. Be curious. Be in the moment. I wasn’t always trying to read the room, manage how I came across, or stay one step ahead so I wouldn’t feel exposed.
I also used to dance.
And even typing that feels a little weird, which probably says more than I want it to.
But I remember being a kid and just moving, not caring, not thinking about how it looked. Somewhere along the way, that changed. Somewhere along the way, I got careful.
That’s the part that sticks with me.
A lot of us didn’t lose ourselves all at once. It happened in small moments. A comment. An embarrassment. A laugh we took the wrong way. A look. A feeling. And then little by little, we started adjusting.
We got more self-conscious.
More guarded.
More controlled.
And after enough time, that version of us starts to feel normal.
But it isn’t.
I think a lot of people are walking around calling it maturity when really they just haven’t felt safe enough to be fully in their life for a long time.
That’s been on my mind.
