Today marks my 1-year anniversary on YouTube. 🎉
A year ago, June 20, 2025, I uploaded my very first video about the cruise ship industry. I started with no special gadgets, no fancy setup — just me, my experiences, and my desire to share what I know.
At first, there were no views, no audience, and no idea where this journey would lead. But I didn’t give up because my goal was never just about numbers. My mission was to inspire, guide, and help people who dream of working in the cruise ship industry.
Looking back, I’m grateful for how far this journey has come. Every comment, message, and person I’ve helped reminds me why I started.
Thank you to everyone who supported this journey. This is just the beginning. 🙏🚢

This is not just about the numbers — it’s about the people behind those views. Thank you for trusting me, for your comments, messages, and encouragement.
More to come. I’ll continue sharing, learning, and helping where I can. 🚢💙

🚢 Mental Health on a Cruise Ship: The Reality Nobody Talks About
Many people dream of working on a cruise ship because of the salary, travel opportunities, and chance to support their families. But what many first-timers don’t realize is that the biggest challenge onboard is often not the work itself—it’s the mental and emotional adjustment.
Being away from your family for months, working long hours, sharing a cabin, dealing with homesickness, culture shock, and the pressure of a fast-paced environment can be overwhelming. Some crew members even think about quitting within their first few months because they struggle mentally, emotionally, and physically.
If you’re preparing to join a cruise ship, remember these important tips:
✅ Accept that the adjustment period is normal.
✅ Stay connected with your family and loved ones.
✅ Build friendships onboard.
✅ Get enough rest whenever possible.
✅ Find a healthy hobby during your free time.
✅ Pray and stay connected to your faith.
✅ Focus on your long-term goals and the reason why you joined.
There is no shame in asking for help when you’re struggling. Strong people ask for support when they need it.
To all crew members currently onboard: keep going. One contract does not last forever. Take it one day at a time, and remember why you started this journey.
Your mental health matters just as much as your career. ❤️🚢

🚢 Take It Slow. Your Time Will Come. 🚢
One of the biggest mistakes aspiring seafarers make is rushing the process.
Not getting hired right away doesn’t mean you’re not qualified. Sometimes, it simply means it’s not your season yet.
Use this waiting period wisely:
✅ Improve your resume
✅ Complete your requirements and trainings
✅ Practice your interview skills
✅ Gain relevant experience if possible
✅ Continue learning and stay prepared
Remember, a cruise ship career is a marathon, not a sprint. Many successful crew members faced multiple rejections before receiving that one life-changing job offer.
Don’t compare your journey to others. Some get hired in a few weeks, while others wait for months. What matters is that you keep moving forward and stay ready when the opportunity arrives.
Trust the process. Stay patient. Stay prepared. Stay positive.
The right contract at the right time is better than rushing into the wrong opportunity.
⚓ Your dream cruise ship job is not delayed if you’re using this time to prepare. Keep going—your boarding day will come. ❤️ #CruiseShipJobs #SeafarerLife #NeverGiveUp #TrustTheProcess #FutureCrewMember
