I prototype and fully fabricate machines and use them on the farm for sawmilling, timber hauling, mowing, excavating, stone crushing etc. I have built a bandsaw mill, chainsaw mill, swingblade sawmill, 8x2 tracked amphibious vehicle, 4x4 utility terrain vehicle (UTV), 4x4 timber trailer with hydraulic crane, front mounted ATV mower, snow plows, ATV tipping trailer, CNC plasma table etc. I like welding with MIG/MAG, TIG, I do light machining, turning in the lathe and steel milling. Due to my inability to film anything 6x6 forwarder related this week I decided to put together a video of my homemade log splitter series. It is nice to go back in time sometimes and see what and how was done and think of what I would make differently next time around. I am happy with this log splitter as-is and I still use it and have to use it in the upcoming weeks to split firewood again for the upcoming winter. However, I would probably approach the whole firewood making process at a different angle due to the possibilities that the soon-to-be-finished 6x6 forwarder will provide. Many of you have asked over the past months and during the 6x6 forwarder build where the CNC plasma is or why don't I use plasma cutter in general. No worries! It is still here. I'm currently moving stuff around a little and doing some changes. The plasma cutter is finally in its final home where it was supposed to be in the first place - under the plasma table. I did a bit of maintenance on the homemade CNC plasma, cleaned the room and now some changes in wiring and air supply is needed. I'm moving everything plasma-related in the plasma room and I'm possibly going to be able to also cut stuff outside with plasma cutter still indoors under the table. But we'll see. Hopefully I can cut the sheet metal in the upcoming episodes of the 6x6 forwarder build on the CNC plasma table.🤞

NEW SERIES! I've been wanting to convert this old farm support building into a car shed for a long time. But first I have to haul away old roof debris and dirt. My homemade timber trailer and UTV help me a lot and an old JCB backhoe does its job also really well. I'd like to retain the brick & stone wall in the south and build a wooden frame that is supported by this wall. This car shed should house two family cars and possibly two tractors - red Renault with guillotine firewood processor attached to it and the JCB loader-excavator you see in this video. Work on the 6x6 mini forwarder project will continue in the upcoming week. Stay tuned and thanks for watching.

🔥NEW VIDEO!🔥 6x6 Mini-Forwarder Ep. 12 - building doors and finishing the front end of the cab. I've been felling and hauling firewood - wanted to get it out of the way before gutting the homemade 4x4 timber trailer and joining it with this 6x6 forwarder front end I'm currently building. Fingers crossed I get to the engine and gearbox soon and hopefully other bits and bobs will go smoothly as well. Stay tuned!
