Ashley Gonzalez has been fired from HPD.
HPD RELEASE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:
The Houston Police Department (HPD) has terminated the employment of Ashley Gonzalez. As of today, she is no longer an employee of the department. HPD holds every officer to the highest standards of integrity and conduct, and will not waver in upholding these expectations.
After discovering the incident, Ashley Gonzalez was immediately relieved of duty. In compliance with state civil service laws, an investigation was conducted as fast as legally possible.
"The behavior exhibited by Ashley Gonzalez was abhorrent, disgusting, and entirely unacceptable," said Chief J. Noe Diaz, Jr. "It is deeply disturbing and has no place in law enforcement or in our community."

 HPD Downtown patrol is searching for evading catalytic converter bandit who is believed to be hiding in the area. Fox Helicopter, K-9 Units and Officers are on the scene searching.

NEW CANEY, TX Can we please get a Come On Down?
A Hood News Peep from New Caney said a man was speeding down their street. Her husband went up to him and told him to slow down.
Not long after, a neighbor sent a message saying that same man had pulled a gun on her DoorDash driver on U.S. Highway 59.
Neighbors are now worried about what happened and their safety in the area.

Ashley Gonzalez, is NOT currently on duty and is not out working in uniform right now. She is still relieved of duty. If you see an officer who may resemble her, do not assume it’s Ashley Gonzalez. Also, she has not moved to another agency.
