Is there an unidentified animal roaming Amarillo or is the photo a social media stunt to garner attention to the city or the zoo? On June 10, 2022 the NCS made an impromptu visit to Amarillo in order to check out the area around the zoo. Quiet night at the zoo that night. Did not observe any evidence of strange animals outside the zoo. Spoke to some locals who are taking the ”UAO- unidentified Amarillo object” with a grain of salt (as do I). I was in town anyway and decided to swing by for a bit. It was a very quiet night.
