In life many of us forget to ask God what is our purpose or we get caught up in living life and forget to do what fills our soul. This is why many become so unhappy with their jobs. It's about purpose. Every life has a purpose. Service is the purpose of our lives. I work a corporate job but I have worked as a waitress several times in the past. I didn't make as much money or have the benefits as the corporate job but the waitress was my favorite job. I enjoyed talking with people and making sure people had everything they needed for a good experience eating while being with friends and family. When we die all the money we made, the big house, the fancy car won't matter. Those things are temporary.
What will matter is how many lives did you touch. Who did you help others? Who did you encourage or uplift? Remember, a servant's heart is a heart like Jesus. Find time to serve others. It will be a blessing to them and to you.

Jesus tells us to pray for those that mistreat us. I find this to be one of the hardest things to do. How do I pray for someone that I really just want to punch in the face? I'm just being real. Why should I pray for them when they are in the wrong? The reason is because it can turn to hate and hate can interfere with or walk with God, block our blessings and can destroy a person. It can lead a person to do terrible things that can affect theirs and others lives for generations. Think about the school shootings. A young person shoots up the school because they acted from the hate that built up inside their heart from being bullied. Hate turned their heart black. Many lives were destroyed from it. The ones whose lives were taken, the ones who survived and all their loved ones. Praying for the ones who mistreat us sends good to them because we never know what has happened or is happening in a person's life to cause them to act that way. More importantly it shields and protects our hearts. Proverb says keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. Meaning, guard your heart because your thoughts and actions originate from your heart and influence your entire life.
Remember, Jesus as he hung on the cross bleeding from nails through his feet and hands, a crown of thorns on his head with a sign above him that mocked him, yet prayed for God to forgive those who were crucify him because they didn't know what they were doing. He is our example. I'm not saying to be a doormat. I am saying let prayer be your default.

I've learned to wake up every morning grateful for life even if life isn't going the way I want it. I am a daughter of God. The God who created all. The great I AM. Alpha and Omega,, The beginning and the end.. He is my provider,my protector. He is my source. The reason I live and exist. I have victory over every situation because he is with me. He is faithful and he never fails. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. His hedge of protection surround me. His angels encamp around me. His word is my sword and I will use it to destroy any doubt or unbelief that comes to make me doubt him. I am strong because he is strong and his spirit is within me. I have peace and joy because I know his love for me and he will never leave me. He is good, he is faithful and he is powerful. Nothing is impossible for him. So on this beautiful Saturday morning, I want to encourage you. Maybe you are going through something hard right now. Maybe it feels overwhelming. Trust God. Keep your eyes fixed on him. No matter what things might look like or how it might feel. He knows.. He sees.. He is with you..He got you. You already have the victory. So, Rejoice! Matthew 6:25-33

Hi everyone. I keep hearing bootcamp in my spirit. I just wanted to speak on it again. Sometimes we as Christians ask God "why am i going through hard times in my life. I live for you God, I serve the kingdom. I just dont understand. Sometimes God will allow us to go thru bootcamp. In bootcamp we build spiritual strength, we gain endurance, we learn how to handle fear and how to use the weapons of spiritual warfare. We learn how to recognize the strategies of the enemy. In bootcamp we gain what we need to be effective warriors for the kingdom of God. So if you are in it right now...I know it's hard.. Bootcamp ain't easy but it's necessary. I'm reminded of the movie an Officer and a Gentlemen. One of my fav movies. The main character joined the Army. At the time he wasn't ready to be a warrior. He had to go through bootcamp. He went through alot but he didn't give up. He preserved even when the Sargeant was screaming at him to quit. He gained what he needed, made it through bootcamp and became a member of the Navy. So don't give up even if everything in you is screaming just give up. You will not be destroyed. Push through. You are being made fit for the battlefield. The army of God. A warrior.
