Hello!
I'm a longtime tinkerer and tech enthusiast with a passion for model aviation. After becoming an aerospace engineer, I turned my attention towards tackling some of the more complex problems. Whether it's fully 3D printed airframes, autonomous flight controllers, custom electronics, or vertical takeoff - anything that's cutting edge has a good chance of ending up on my drawing board.
Check out my videos for a look into my design process, struggles, successes, and sometimes failures too. I'm no master showman, but YouTube is a great way to document progress while exchanging ideas with the community. The ideas that work usually make it over to Lofted Aero, a site where I can make cool designs and hardware available to others while also helping to fund future projects.

I've replaced the gearmotors in my 3BSM design with Hitec MD Series servos for better performance & reliability. These use CAN protocol and retain proportional control through multiple rotations! They also provide full bidirectional feedback for position, speed, torque, current, temperature, and more.
