LONG OVERDUE CHANNEL/LIFE UPDATE:

TL;DR: Family is growing, I'm loving work, no-more ads, my ability to release content has definitely slowed down, yet Bowtied will never "end".

FAMILY:
I just wanted to start by saying that I'm loving my current stage of life! My family is happy and healthy and that's the biggest priority! My wife and I welcomed a daughter into our family in February of 2025 and being a father is all I really wanted in life. And now that she's over a year old, we can spend real good quality time together and I will always choose family over everything.

WORK:
In summer of 2025 I changed jobs to one that made it significantly harder to listen to music while I work, so my ability to stay fresh with all the new releases has significantly diminished. I love this job and see a future doing it forever at this point. I'm producing fairly high-end video production and editing for local and sometimes major brands.

MY TIME:
With the shift in job and growth of my family, my time has become much more limited and what I prioritize has become very evident. I love doing Bowtied Media, but there is no world where I can put it before my job or family and with how busy those 2 things are, a majority of my spare time now is reserved for rest meaning that the time I have to give to Bowtied is sadly very sparse in this current season.

ADS:
As of today, I have removed ads on all my videos (that I have control of). Some videos will still have ads due to the songs that are played in the videos but 80% of the videos on this channel now will be ad free (moving forward as well).

MEMBERSHIP:
I am truly truly grateful for the support you have provided through membership. If you'd still like to support me and the channel you can still do that through the now singular $2 CAD tier. With the lack of content I'm producing right now, I just don't feel good about having any higher tiers, but I understand some of you still want to support this channel and for that I am grateful. Thank you.

THE FUTURE:
This is not the end of Bowtied Media. I do not believe this channel will ever be "done". I still very much plan on releasing content when I can, this particular season makes that difficult. I will do my absolute hardest to, at the very minimum, still do my year-end videos looking back at the best and the worst the year had to offer. I won't be able to cover nearly as much I could previously, but I still very much want to make those videos.

You are all such an incredible community and I'm thankful to play a small role in this ever-evolving ecosystem of music. I will still very much be around in the YouTube, Reddit, and Discord comments so I'll see you around I'm sure ;)
