five years of this little corner of mine ♡

27 August 2021, 7:30 PM.
I uploaded my very first YouTube video.

I had absolutely no idea that pressing that little upload button would be the beginning of something that would stay with me for the next five years.

I didn't know where it would take me. I didn't know how long I'd continue, how many edits I'd make, or how attached I'd eventually become to this little corner of the internet.

And honestly, this journey was never a straight line of success.

There were so many ups and downs. Long periods where nothing seemed to work, videos that barely reached anyone, moments where I felt like I wasn't growing at all, and times when I questioned whether I should even continue.

Five years, and 5k subscribers.

It may not look like a huge number compared to how quickly some channels grow, but I know how slowly we got here. And that's exactly why every single one of those 5k means so much to me.

But then came 2026.

I resumed my activity on YouTube in January, right when the ARIRANG ERA began.

And somehow, this era gave me a reason to start again.

After everything, I found myself wanting to edit again, wanting to create again, wanting to be active on this little channel again. It felt like I was finding my way back to something I had almost lost.

And because of that, I already know this will always be the most beautiful and meaningful ARIRANG ERA for me.

Not just because of BTS, but because of what this era gave me — a reason to come back, to create again, and to keep going with something I had started five years ago.

And somehow, in just this year, 1,500 of you found this little corner and decided to stay.

After years of such slow growth, seeing that number honestly means more to me than I can explain.

A year of editing BTS, staying up way too late fixing one tiny transition, getting excited over views, deleting edits I thought were terrible, making edits I ended up loving, experimenting, learning, starting over and slowly getting better.

But more than the edits, this channel became a place where I could just be myself.

A place where I could turn my love for BTS into something of my own. A place I could escape into when everything else felt overwhelming. A place that gave me something to look forward to.

And I don't think I can talk about this journey without mentioning my family.

Thank you for supporting me through all of this. For being happy when I reached little milestones, for getting excited with me over subscribers and views, and for making me feel like what I was doing actually mattered.

I never started this thinking it would become this meaningful to me.

I never imagined the people I'd meet, the memories I'd make, the things I'd learn, or how much this tiny channel would become a part of my life.

So today, I just want to say thank you.

To everyone who has watched, liked, commented, subscribed, shared an edit, recognized my watermark, or simply stayed here quietly — thank you. You have made this journey so much more special than you probably realize.

And to BTS, thank you for giving me something I could create with, escape into, and love endlessly.

It wasn't perfect.
It wasn't fast.
It definitely wasn't a straight road.

But I kept coming back.

And that's what makes these five years so special to me.
