A little Re introduction ✨

My name is Catherine and I am the creator, owner and embroideress behind Stitching Spirit. My passion is embroidery and teaching people why embroidery is such a powerful craft to help calm the mind and get your creative juices flowing.
After burn out and grief hit me in early 2021 I decided I wanted to turn my passion into a business and to earn a living from what I love to do. I want to help people get through tough times by creating with their hands. To help them get out of their head a little and to stitch something they love.
I create embroidery kits, stick and stitch packs, embroidery supplies and more to suit every skill level. To try and get as many people as possible to get stitching and get creative. All my instructions are super clear and easy to follow.
I have (and am still) building a community of people online, through quite a few platforms. From YouTube to Instagram to Patreon there’s a place for everyone to get involved and get started from complete beginner to more experienced stitchers. You’ll find like minded people to socialise with or just to share work or get help.
I will also be on the new series of @make_it_at_market this year and the series starts today on BBC one at 3:45pm. My episode is on the 14th of March. So have a watch and join me on this creative journey and let’s get stitching together!
