I generally only play the Light class with the SR-84 (sniper rifle), so this is what you'll see in most of my footage here. I play on PS5 with a stock DualSense controller, with all aim assist options turned OFF. I'm a top-200 Power Shift player (Global: S4 #45, S5 #139, S6 #186, S7 #143, S8 #99) and love this game mode!

(I'm posting this in a few places, so my apologies if you have to see this more than once.)
Hi guys. I have some really uncomfortable news to share with you today. It had been discovered over the weekend that my friend, Dan, who you may know either on Discord or in-game as TrouserSnake had passed away. I spoke with his brother today, who confirmed some of the details. To put it briefly, Dan lost his life to depression.
Dan was the very first friend I made in The Finals. After months of solo-queuing and hearing "wow you suck, uninstall", Dan was the first one to say "wow WE suck, let's do that again". Through him, I've met so many amazing people in this community. He created a community of players built on acceptance, and would go head-to-head against ANYBODY to defend his friends, often at his own expense. He loved to theory-craft and come up with new tech in the game, and unlocked the secrets to the "Trouser Traversal" zipline maneuver.
He could be stubborn and hard to get along with sometimes, but he cared deeply for his friends and would drop everything at a moment's notice to hop into a hours-long voice chat to help them with anything. Dan was a tremendous goofball, whose friendship and antics in the arena could never be replaced.
Please check on your friends. Let them know that you care, that they are loved.

No new videos for a while, sorry! Having some internet issues which may take a few days to resolve, and I don't have any Shorts already scheduled for upload. There should still be a few full match videos going up for a while, but Shorts/clips will be delayed a bit. Hopefully I can steal some wifi soon enough!

I've been asked about my controller settings a few times, but nobody believes me. 🤷♂️
Main takeaways here are maxed out horizontal sensitivity, gyro enabled while ADSing, aim assist turned OFF for both weapons and melee.
Not shown (because I forgot to screenshot it): 3D Audio and Night Mode are enabled in my sound settings. With decent headphones, these settings make it VERY easy to pinpoint enemy locations purely by sound. Each class has unique footstep sounds, and friendly and enemy footsteps all sound different, so it's also easy to identify WHO you're hearing, as well. It's basically free radar!
Also, I don't know why the screenshots are cropped when viewing this post from the web. But the full versions are visible from mobile. Thanks, YouTube. :\
