The Range Rover Sport GT has been unveiled, and it's the 5th member of its family, but the first to divert from the SUV design.

As an EV, it adopts a coupe-like sloping roofline and sits lower, but the side profile, flushed door handles, and a minimal layout make it unmistakably Range Rover. Cabin layout is also minimal. The instrument cluster has been replaced by a driver display, and a large centre screen complements this layout.

No technical details have been furnished yet. The GT may arrive in India as a CBU.

The Tata Nexon will launch in South Africa, and as the Osprey. Set to launch in the third quarter of the current calendar year, its name is inspired from the bird of prey found in the region.

The Tata Osprey will add to Tata Motors' regional portfolio, which includes the likes of the Tiago, Punch (pre-facelift), Curvv, and the Harrier. While we do not know the exact powertrain the Africa-spec model will use, the one sold in India gets turbo petrol, turbo-CNG, diesel, and EV options.
