I am SOOO excited about this new Disney hotel!! Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is officially opening July 1, 2027 at Walt Disney World, and we finally have our first look at the rooms — and there is SO much to talk about! The resort will have 967 rooms, including Encanto-inspired Duo Studios, Bambi-inspired Deluxe Studios and Villas, Fantasia Grand Villas, Pocahontas-inspired resort rooms, and brand-new waterfront Lake Houses right along Bay Lake!

But I think those Lake Houses might be what I’m most excited to see! They will be freestanding one- and two-bedroom retreats with huge windows, private waterfront porches, full kitchens, and Brother Bear theming — including a Northern Lights-inspired lighting feature in the primary bedroom! And this resort is going to be SO much more than just the rooms. We’re getting a lazy river, pools, kids' play areas, new dining locations, incredible Bay Lake views, and even places where you can watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks!
Reservations begin opening in October, and I already know this is going HIGH on my list of places I want to stay and bring you along to see! I love that Disney seems to be leaning into nature while still weaving Disney storytelling throughout the resort. I CANNOT WAIT FOR MONSTROPOLIS!!! Every single new detail Disney releases about this area makes me MORE excited!!! And now we know that parts of Monstropolis are actually opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2027 while work continues on the Door Coaster!

We’re getting the Glob Theater with a brand-new “Welcome to Monstropolis” show hosted by Mike and Sulley, Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, the Monsters University Alumni Club, the Scareporium AND Harryhausen’s Restaurant!!! I absolutely LOVE that they are taking places we remember from Monsters, Inc. and letting us actually step inside them. Randy Newman even wrote a brand-new song called “Welcome to Monstropolis” specifically for the land!

But HARRYHAUSEN’S!!! I WANT TO TAKE MY HONEY TO DINNER THERE!!! I seriously cannot wait! We’ll finally be able to eat at the restaurant where Mike and Celia had their date, and Disney says the menu will be unlike anything else currently offered at Walt Disney World. There will even be a new Audio-Animatronic sushi chef with all of his tentacles preparing food! And Disney actually called it a place to bring your “Schmoopsie-poo” for a romantic meal. YES!!! Aaron, I already know where we're having date night!

I am just SO excited to walk into Monstropolis for the first time. Monsters, Inc. has such a fun world, and between the restaurants, shops, entertainment, Mike and Sulley and eventually that incredible Door Coaster, this could become one of my FAVORITE areas at Hollywood Studios. I CANNOT WAIT!!!

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS AREA!!! Piston Peak National Park is seriously looking more and more AMAZING every time Disney gives us another look! We are getting TWO new Cars attractions at Magic Kingdom, and Cars Ridge Run Rally sounds absolutely incredible. We’ll race through forests, rivers, mud flats and geysers, climb all the way to a snowy Piston Peak, and then PLUMMET back down before racing toward the finish with Lightning McQueen and Mater! And Disney says these new vehicles aren't just going to simulate off-roading — the tires and suspension will actually react to the terrain so we FEEL every bump, rock and drop! THIS is the kind of Imagineering I cannot wait to experience!!!

And now we know the second attraction is Miss Fritter’s Daredevil Spin-Along!!! Miss Fritter is going to be a HUGE SCHOOL-BUS-SIZED ANIMATRONIC hosting her own crazy demolition derby! YES PLEASE!!! I also LOVE how beautiful this entire land looks. The snowcapped mountains, waterfalls, giant trees, rivers, geysers, Ranger HQ and National Park-style buildings look absolutely gorgeous. I know there have been a LOT of feelings about the changes coming to Frontierland, but seeing everything come together is making me SO excited to actually walk into Piston Peak for the first time. This is part of the LARGEST expansion in Magic Kingdom history, and I seriously cannot wait to see it in person!!!

There is NOTHING like Halloween at Walt Disney World, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my absolute favorite Disney events! The costumes, the characters, the trick-or-treating, the Halloween music, the incredible atmosphere throughout Magic Kingdom… I LOVE IT ALL. 🎃🏰✨

But can we talk about THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN?! 🐎🔥 Seeing him ride through Magic Kingdom before Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is one of those Disney moments that gives me chills EVERY SINGLE TIME. The park gets darker, you hear those hoofbeats coming down the street, and then suddenly there he is — the Headless Horseman riding through the Magic Kingdom! It is spooky, dramatic, and SO perfectly Disney Halloween. 🖤🎃

If Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is on your Disney bucket list, make sure you find a great spot for the parade because you do NOT want to miss this entrance!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE!!! Coco is easily one of my TOP 5 Disney/Pixar movies EVER, so the fact that we are FINALLY getting a Coco attraction makes me ridiculously happy!!! 💜🌼🎸

And this isn't just Coco appearing somewhere in an existing attraction. This will be the FIRST COCO RIDE EVER at a Disney park!!!

I seriously cannot wait!!!

The new attraction is coming to Disney California Adventure, and construction is already underway near Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier. The entrance will be next to Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and from the minute we enter the queue, we are going to be stepping into the world of Coco.

The story takes place ONE YEAR after the original movie. We’ll enter a “casa museo” dedicated to the music of Miguel's great-great-grandfather, Héctor Rivera, and then we get to JOIN MIGUEL on a boat ride through his memories of the Land of the Dead!!!

A BOAT RIDE THROUGH THE LAND OF THE DEAD!!! 🌼💀🎸

Disney says Imagineers are actually taking inspiration from Pirates of the Caribbean AND Haunted Mansion for this attraction. Those are two of the most iconic Disney attractions ever, so hearing that makes me even MORE excited!

And YES — there will be Audio-Animatronics!!!

Imagineers are using the latest Audio-Animatronics technology to bring the skeletal characters to life. We’re going to see Miguel, Dante, Héctor and more while experiencing the music, colors, Mexican culture and incredible family story that made Coco so special.

If they create that HUGE, colorful Land of the Dead environment with boats floating through it, music surrounding us and incredible Audio-Animatronics everywhere... I may never want to get off this ride. 😂

And there is NO HEIGHT REQUIREMENT! The entire family will be able to experience it together, which feels absolutely PERFECT for a movie whose entire heart is about family and the generations that came before us. ❤️

There is even MORE Coco coming because Coco 2 is officially in development, and Imagineers are working directly with Pixar so this attraction can include connections to BOTH movies!

I LOVE Coco. I love the music. I love Miguel. I love Héctor. I love Dante. I love the Land of the Dead. I love the message about family and remembering the people we love.

This one is going to GET ME. 😭❤️

If they play “Remember Me” while we're floating through the Land of the Dead, I already know I am going to be sitting in that boat CRYING.

I seriously cannot explain how excited I am for this attraction!!!
