A husband’s love is not supposed to be a reward his wife earns by submitting perfectly.

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” — Ephesians 5:25

Christ did not wait for the Church to become perfect before He gave Himself for her.

So if your love disappears the moment your wife struggles, disagrees, or falls short, then it is worth asking whether you are loving her like Christ—or simply responding to how well she is treating you.

Biblical marriage is not:
“You do your part first, then I’ll do mine.”

It is obedience to Christ on both sides.

Wives are called to submit.
Husbands are called to love sacrificially.

And husband, your obedience to Christ cannot be conditional on your wife’s obedience to Christ.

Follow Christ first. Love her from there. ❤️

Jesus was deeply spiritual, yet people could approach Him.

Children came to Him. Sinners sat and ate with Him. The broken felt safe enough to come near Him. He could speak with a Samaritan woman at a well, attend a wedding, weep with grieving friends, and still walk in complete holiness.

“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses…” — Hebrews 4:15

Spiritual maturity shouldn’t make us disconnected, unapproachable or incapable of understanding people.

And being relatable doesn’t mean compromising holiness. Jesus was relatable without becoming sinful. He came close without becoming compromised.

The more we become like Christ, the more people should be able to encounter His love, compassion, truth and grace through us.

Be spiritual. Be holy. But don’t become so “spiritual” that ordinary people can no longer reach you. ❤️

Eternity is too serious to inherit beliefs without investigation.

If your eternal destiny depends on what you believe, then ask the difficult questions. Examine the prophecies. Examine the history. Examine the geography. Examine the claims for yourself.

Don’t follow Christianity simply because you were raised Christian. Don’t follow Islam simply because you were raised Muslim. Seek the truth.

I believe that truth ultimately leads to Jesus Christ. ✝️

Don’t gamble with eternity. Investigate what you believe.

I’ve listened to many preachers. I’ve listened to many brothers and sisters in the Lord. And sometimes I leave the conversation knowing more about their pastor, their church, their denomination, or how much Bible they know—but not knowing Jesus any better.

POINT ME TO JESUS.

If I want to come to your church, I will decide that. If the Lord wants me planted in your church, He knows how to lead me there.

But when you witness to me, point me to Jesus.

Your denomination cannot save me.
Your pastor cannot save me.
Your doctrine cannot save me.
You cannot save me.
My mother cannot save me.
My father cannot save me.
My siblings cannot save me.
I cannot even save myself.

Only Jesus saves.

So when you preach, preach Jesus.
When you evangelise, point people to Jesus.
When you share the Gospel, let Jesus be the destination—not your church membership.

Church matters. Sound doctrine matters. Pastors matter. Fellowship matters.

But none of them is the Saviour. JESUS IS.

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12

Stop recruiting people to yourself.

Point souls to JESUS. ✝️

Discipline doesn’t always feel like love.

Sometimes it looks like early mornings, uncomfortable conversations, closed doors, delayed answers, and seasons that stretch you beyond what you thought you could endure.

But pain has a way of exposing what comfort often hides. It teaches, refines, and redirects us toward the person God is shaping you to become.

Don’t waste the pain. Let it produce the maturity God intended.

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace…” — Hebrews 12:11
