So I finished the last 100 episodes of dayz's thumbnails and like 70 other random thumbnails or something. Once I edit through those videos, I think I'll finally have gone through all of my footage I have beyond a few recent things. JUST 170 videos. I am noticing I'm missing some like 400 videos or so, but I think they were lost in hard drive failures in the past. Its taken like 5 years, but I can actually see the finish line in the distance. I will be free to just create things from scratch again and it will be so much easier and controlled. The last time I really created something from scratch I had 38 subscribers and it was this hunt showdown fever dream

Okay after talking to the discombobulated mess that is youtube support ai, I think its best to remove my videos from members only and simply schedule them as normal videos. After basically 2 hours talking with it, Ive learned almost nothing and the account is very restricted for some unknown reason. Im assuming it must be something I'm mechanically doing wrong in the upload system or maybe my account is messed up from shorts. It also seems according to the ai ,that unlisted videos are bad as well as the views dont count, so unfortunately I can't use them either. Perhaps thats messed up my algorithm from using them in the past. Maybe its all the shorts polluting my algorithm with randoms and brainrot people.

I might just make a new channel and go in a different direction because youtube obviously doesnt want my gaming channel stuff to succeed for whatever reason and keeps sending my videos out to people who watch them for 1-3 seconds. Which you know, when you and I watch a video on youtube, you click on it and then after 1 micro pico banana second you change your mind and leave. And clearly 20 or 40 people IN A ROW are all doing this on every single one of my videos and thats completely daily reoccurring normal human behavior and not ai bot lies at all. YEAH TOTALLY...

I've cleaned up all my videos I can in every possible way I can think of, even using chatgpt to think of anything crazy and ive gotten like 40% more of my videos to be not restricted in restricted mode, but that also hasnt changed anything.

Sorry if I missed fixing some videos. Its so much pressure and work to do all this as one person. I apologize if I missed something bad.

I think im gonna try editing my shorts into long form videos and then maybe unlist or delete them too, I dunno what else to try.

I'll start working on the new channels too. I was thinking I could do a full YTP style ai channel and a shorts version as a side project for fun but I think the real other channel will probably be like a full vtuber advice / general help channel, if youre into that sort of thing. I havent really used my model ever so maybe that will be fun. Im kinda burned out from doing thousands of videos to get average view duration of 3 seconds and 11 views a video. Maybe i'll work on this gaming channel in my spare time.
