Galatians 5:18(NIV) But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Now, "if" here is a statement of fact for a believer..and this consequence automatically follows; no longer under the control and condemnation of the Law of Moses! The Spirit doesn't lead us back to the law of Moses.

He does not put us back under the system Christ already fulfilled.. He reveals Christ in us.. One cannot be led by the Spirit and at the same time be under the law of Moses! Either of these is operational and in this New Covenant, we are led by the Spirit, the latter is outdated, no longer under the law!!

Therefore, we who belong to Christ are no longer relating to God through the law.. We are now governed, guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit who lives in us not the law.. Jesus fulfilled the law to the letter and now we are ushered into an era where the Spirit is leading, no longer under the law! Christ is living His life through us by the Holy Spirit.. What a joy!

Galatians 5:18(NIV) But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

This verse hit so strong today, Paul is contrasting life under the law with life under the Holy Spirit.. Firstly, to be led means to be instructed in love, to be guided, directed, to be trained FROM WITHIN..

To be led by the Holy Spirit is not Him harshly commanding us to try hard so that we won't be under the law of Moses, it's all about Him directing/guiding us to produce Christ's life in us and through us!! It is His activity, ours is to simply allow Him to and follow as He leads! That's why asking Him to lead us is a wrong asking, He is already doing it! He is already leading us!

The Spirit leads us into living this glorious life that Christ has already accomplished for us, the Life we receive/received at the point of salvation.. ZOE! The very Life of God!!

Now, why are we not under the law of Moses anymore? The answer is simply BECAUSE OF WHAT CHRIST ACCOMPLISHED!!HALLELUYAH! He fulfilled ALL the requirements of the Law to the letter! He didn't leave anything of the Law, sin, death...pending for us to complete!(one day we'll share on what He finished)

It truly amazes me that my relationship with God is no longer based on me doing for God to do.. This, makes me shed tears,, What a love!! My Lord and Savior Christ Jesus has already dealt with the law's demands and brought you and me into the new covenant of grace!

We have freedom from law-based living into Spirit-led living...all because of what Jesus Christ accomplished, not because of anyone's effort nor diligence in keeping the law.. Oh, I think of the great love that God is, has and demonstrated,...words fail me! Father, I'm grateful!!

Let's share more on this verse tomorrow.. Take a minute and meditate on God's unconditional love for mankind.. He gave His very best so that we may have His Spirit dwell in us and lead us in so much love.. Oh Lord!

ETERNAL REDEMPTION 2

Hebrews 9:12(NKJV) Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

In our last devotion we learnt that Jesus didn't die repeatedly! The cross was God's definitive answer to sin, it's forever sufficient, no more sacrifices for sin! One sacrifice.. One offering.. One time.. For all!!

Now, talking of “having obtained eternal redemption” my God! This is powerful!! First, not that redemption will be obtained someday, Jesus entered the Most Holy Place HAVING obtained ETERNAL redemption.. We are not on waiting mode!!

Please get this, not temporary redemption, not redemption that expires when one fails, not redemption that has to be renewed every morning etc, BUT ETERNAL REDEMPTION.
Jesus obtained it once for ALL! It truly amazes me that what God does is eternally eternal!

Jesus obtained eternal redemption for us.. How awesome!! Our role is not to keep trying to purchase what Christ Jesus already purchased by His own blood, we believe, receive and live from what He has accomplished! It's already too late to pay for what has been availed freely in Christ! Also, paying for what Jesus paid for over 2000 years ago is, do I say...let me not type that word today😅

He already paid for our "buying back to freedom!" He bought us back to freedom by His own blood! In the old system there was need for animal sacrifices now and then to deal with sin but Jesus, Our Lord, said, “IT IS FINISHED" Oh our eternal redemption is already secured!! The debt has been paid completely!!!

ETERNAL REDEMPTION 1

Hebrews 9:12(NKJV) Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

This is another verse that gloriously reveals the finished work of the cross.. Under the old covenant, priests offered animal sacrifices REPEATEDLY for sin.. The blood of animals could not PERMANENTLY deal with sin_it only covered sin for a specific period of time, but something greater and better happened_Jesus presented not the blood of goats and calves in a bowl, but His own blood!

The Most Holy Place represented the very presence of God.. Under the old covenant, only the high priest could enter the Holy of holies once a year_on the day of atonement BUT Jesus, our perfect High Priest, entered God's presence on our behalf once and for all! Not with an animal sacrifice but His own FINISHED SACRIFICE.

Jesus did not die repeatedly neither was there need for this! One sacrifice.. One offering.. One cross.. One time.. For all! And this is Forever sufficient!! God was pleased! The issue of sin was completely dealt with no wonder in this New Covenant sin is unbelief!

Jesus was the sacrifice! The cross was God's definitive answer to sin! That's why our acceptance to God isn't based on how well we performed today.. It is entirely based on what Christ accomplished! Isn't it wonderful!! We pick it up from here on Monday.

FAITH EXPRESSED THROUGH CONFIDENT SPEECH

Mark 11:23(NASB) “Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.”

To begin with, where do you draw your confidence from? That's your homework.. Now, a mountain represents an obstacle or seemingly impossible situation.. Like the drying up of the fig tree, within hours, was jokingly thinking whether the time Jesus cursed it there was sun then I remembered, He didn't have to depend on the climate, His Word is enough to command and such obeys.. Jesus uses dramatic language to show that Faith is not intimidated by what looks IMPOSSIBLE!

Notice He says “says”_that's an expression of faith through words.. The emphasis isn't on literally moving mountains.. It's about the authority of trusting God rather than being overwhelmed by circumstances.. Knowing that you have authority to speak to situations and they align!

Now, as we speak, how's the state of our hearts? Speaking is okay oh and many speak but how is your heart? Many want to change their results yet not their believing.. What we feed to the soil of our hearts literally grows! Consciously or unconsciously.. The heart is the production centre, it gathers information for our mouths.. This does not mean we must manufacture perfect "something" it's all about confidence in God and His faithfulness!!

Faith rests in God's ability.. Our confidence ultimately rests not in how strong we feel, but in Christ and His finished work.. This is beautiful! Because Christ has finished the work, I confidently trust God and speak in agreement with what He has revealed!!

What looks impossible? Btw it is not! It only looks so, Nothing to fear!! Face that "impossible-looking circumstances" with confidence in God, speaking from faith not fear! That mountain is not greater than the work Jesus finished on the cross!! Okay? REST, EXERCISE THE AUTHORITY YOU HAVE RECEIVED FROM OUR DADDIE!

BONDSERVANT OF CHRIST

Galatians 1:10(NKJV) For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

Before I go further, please note Paul does not talk of pleasing God...In Christ, we don't try to perform so that God will be pleased_we have already pleased Him, we have His Son in Whom He is well pleased!

Now here comes the complete difference! If he still pleased men, he would not be a bondservant of Christ! The first time I read this, I got into a deep thinking,,,if one chooses to please people whose opinions change day by day, it's really a lot of work.. A terrible bondage that one! One day they celebrate you; another day they criticize you.. There's no sure stand, you have to flow with they opinion, it's hard!

BUT what Jesus finished and ushered us to, gives us a fixed stand!! It was not dependent on people whose opinion change but on God Who changes not!! Now, you can't be two in one; you either choose to persuade people, where you have to keep trying hard to keep up with their standard of you, or God, Who has not given us a ladder to climb but a finished platform to stand on, not to earn us identity but because we already are; His bondservant! Glory!

That's why Paul could preach Christ faithfully even when the message wasn't popular.. If he "STILL pleased men", means the old system of seeking human approval and religious validation.. The GOSPEL frees us from that slavery.. I remind you on this 9th day of September 2026, you don't need to ADJUST THE GOSPEL TO MAKE EVERYBODY COMFORTABLE.. You don't need to dilute Grace because someone thinks Grace is “too much.. Too good to be true”.. You don't need to add condemnation to make people feel that you're preaching seriously!! GRACE IS ENOUGH!! CHRIST IS ENOUGH!! I'm so privileged to be His bondservant🙌

When your heart is occupied with: “What will they say about me?”you can become controlled by people and it's baaaad! But when your heart is established in:“What has Christ already accomplished for me?” you become free to serve Him! I enjoy serving Him like for real😅

I don't minister, serve, give, obey to earn God's acceptance. I live from the acceptance Christ has already secured for me through His finished work!
I am a Bondservant of Christ!

DELIVERED FROM EVIL AGE

Galatians 1:4(NKJV) who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

Before we even go further, beloved of God, isn't this language wonderful!! He GAVE Himself.. He will not give, He already did, it's a done deal!! Even deeper, Jesus didn't merely give something to deal with sin_He GAVE HIMSELF, underline that.. The cross was God's complete solution to the sin problem.. No wonder right now the world does not have a sin problem, it has a Son problem.. What do I mean? Doesn't know Jesus, does not believe Jesus:Unbelief; not believing in Jesus! Remember, THE CROSS CHANGED EVERYTHING!!

Jesus bore our sins in His own body and the sacrifice was SUFFICIENT ONCE and FOR ALL!(1 Peter 2:24) A believer isn't trying to make the cross sufficient by continually adding something to it.. The sacrifice is finished.. The sacrifice was enough! God was pleased! This melts my heart!

Notice this, Jesus didn't die merely to provide forgiveness_He died to deliver us from the dominion of the old age/system of sin.. Oh God!! The finished work brought us into newness!! Oh, a new creation, a new covenant, a better covenant!! A higher pattern was introduced!!

I am not waiting for deliverance to happen someday.. In Christ, I have already been transferred.. Where to? Into a sphere where evil doesn't exist, hallelujah! I have been transitioned from the old age to THE NEW AGE inaugurated by Christ Himself!! The cross accomplished something enormous; Jesus has brought us into the new covenant reality.. Notice this, He has brought us, we didn't bring ourselves here, we didn't force ourselves in aaaaiii this is powerful!!

Amazingly, it was the plan of our good Daddie, it was His will!! The cross wasn't a Plan B.. Jesus' death was according to God's will and eternal purpose.. What a loving Daddie we have!! And guess what, this will was accomplished!! It is done!! Glory!!

A DISPLAY OF GRACE

Acts 11:23(KJV) When he came and had seen the grace of God, he was glad and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.”

The church in Jerusalem had heard that Gentiles in Antioch were believing in Jesus, so they sent Barnabas to see what was happening (Acts 11:22).. When he arrived, he SAW the GRACE OF GOD.. WOW!!

Now, what did Barnabas actually see? He literally saw the Gentiles turning to Christ and becoming believers (Acts 11:21).. He recognized that what was happening was genuinely the WORK OF GOD.. Notice his response, “He was glad.” He didn't become suspicious because these were Gentiles.. He rejoiced because God's grace was reaching people! This is beautiful!!

Grace was not merely a doctrine Barnabas had heard about_he actually saw the fruit of Grace in people's lives.. Hallelujah!! He then encouraged them to cleave to the Lord.. To the Lord not performances!!

Now, talking of “Purpose of heart” simply means the idea of being firmly resolved, determined, settled in one's heart.. In other words make Jesus your settled commitment.. Don't turn away from Him and focus on something else, He is enough to produce visible fruits that are consistent with Him! This amazes me big!!

Another thing to notice,“Cleave unto the Lord.” This means to hold fast to, remain attached to, stay devoted to.. It's all about Christ! Not self efforts! We don't cling to Jesus because we are trying to earn Him_we cling to Him because we have already received Him by grace and now display His beautiful work!

God is a Spirit;invisible to optical eyes yet still visible;in believers! We don't see wind but we see the effects of wind, the effects of Grace are visible!! It is a glorious week this one!

CREATED FOR HIM

Colossians 1:16(KJV) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Jesus isn't simply someone God sent to help humanity_He is the One through Whom creation itself came into being.. Everything visible and invisible—your life, your purpose, the spiritual realm, everything—has its source in Him.

All things were created for Him; everything has been designed to submit to Him! Oh I was created FOR Him.. Our ultimate purpose isn't simply to have a successful life on earth, get married, build a career, build a beautiful home, buy a nice car, etc, these things are beautiful yes, actually we must enjoy all this yes, no doubt! but our deepest purpose is Christ Himself.. That's why our desire to let God live through us in our generation is so aligned with this verse!

Every morning when I wake up I'm like, "Lord, this is Your day.. This is Your body.. Thank You for choosing to live in me, I allow you to live through me.. May somebody encounter You because I showed up today.. Thank You because whoever I interact with today gets awakened to Your unconditional love, something must be stirred up in them as they are meeting You, thank you because they hear You when they listen to me.. They see you when they look at me.. You are the reason Pauline is here on earth”

Today and always, allow Him to win.. He is the Creator!! We were designed to submit to His supremacy not compete with Him!

THE GOOD WORK

Philippians 1:6(AMP) And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

This is a wonderful verse.. Something beautiful is said here, “God started something (from the Greek we understand the wording is "having begun") and it's not our work to struggle to finish it.” The verse reveals God’s faithfulness to complete what He Himself began and notice, it's not just anything but “THE GOOD WORK” My God!

Which is this good work? It primarily refers to God’s work of salvation and transformation that He began in believers through Christ.. Please notice this, the work of the cross accomplished redemption, forgiveness, reconciliation and our new identity in Christ! So God is not completing this!

To begin with, What exactly did God begin?
1. He began the work of salvation in us.
We didn't save ourselves. God initiated reconciliation with Him through Christ Jesus. At the cross, Jesus dealt with sin and brought you and I into relationship with God.

2. He gave us new life.
When we believed the Gospel, we were born again (1 Peter 1:23). We became a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

3. He began conforming you and I to Christ .
God's purpose is not merely that you be saved, but that Christ be formed in you and that your life INCREASINGLY REFLECT HIM. Hallelujah!

4. He began His work through the Gospel in your life.
Notice the context: Paul is thanking the Philippians for their partnership in the Gospel (verse 5), then says God will complete the good work He began.. So this is deeply connected with their life as people who have received and are participating in the Gospel!

At the cross we see what was FINISHED, NOW, the OUTWORKING of what Christ Jesus accomplished CONTINUES in our lives.. This our good Daddie is working from a finished foundation, gloooory!! Jesus doesn't need to die again to make us complete.. We are accepted, forgiven, reconciled and complete in Christ.. The Holy Spirit works that reality into our character, thinking, conduct, ministry, relationships etc.. So that we experience this and let it flow to others.. This is one of my desire, to let Zoe flow not only in me but also through me, to generations because this is God's desire!

Therefore, remain confident for the God who saved us is not going to abandon us halfway.. What He initiated by grace, He is faithful and He's working to bring to its intended expression in Christ.. Relax, you don't finish it yourself, rest in His faithfulness to finish!

TODAY'S ASSIGNMENT
Please take sometime and meditate on this, I've meditated on it for sometime and it's worth it, you'll rest in God's faithfulness in the formation of Christ in us.. It's time every believer reflect Zoe, I feel it strongly in my Spirit!! Allow Him to minister to you this morning!
