नमस्कार, मेरा नाम कंचन जोशी है और मैं उत्तराखंड नैनीताल से हूं। मैं उत्तराखंड की पारंपरिक लोक कला के इतिहास और कल से सभी को रूबरू कराने की कोशिश करूंगी।
ऐपण भारत के उत्तराखंड के कुमाऊं क्षेत्र का एक पारंपरिक लोक कला रूप है । इसे अक्सर महिलाएं बनाती हैं और इसकी विशेषता ज्यामितीय पैटर्न है। ऐपण विशेष अवसरों, अनुष्ठानों और त्योहारों के लिए बनाए जाते हैं। ऐपण गेरू अर्थात लाल मिट्टी और बीसवार अर्थात चावल को पीसकर बनाए गए पेस्ट से तैयार तैयार किया जाता है।
