Using Flock and other camera systems and databases will deminish the need to use cell phone location data, and the need for a warrant. You will be tracked by AI using your license plate instead, all without a warrant. In the near future, these cameras will also collect your digital data coming from your car with sniffers.

Local PDs are now using wireless sniffers on vehicles like the feds have been using for decades now. People are now starting to figure it out and are mad.
A VPN helps, but it does not fully protect you from a fake cell tower, commonly called an IMSI catcher, Stingray, or cell-site simulator.
These devices impersonate legitimate towers and cause nearby phones to connect.
What the VPN protects
Once the VPN tunnel is established, it generally prevents the fake tower operator from reading the contents of your internet traffic, including:
Web browsing
App data
Email
Messaging-app traffic
DNS requests, provided the VPN handles DNS correctly
The interceptor may see encrypted data traveling between your phone and the VPN server, but not the underlying content.
What the VPN does not hide
Before internet traffic even enters the VPN, the phone must communicate with the cellular network. A cell-site simulator may still be able to collect or infer:
Your phone or SIM’s cellular identifiers, particularly IMSI-related information
That your phone is present in the area
Approximate or precise physical location
Connection timing and traffic volume
Your cellular carrier
Possibly calls and SMS under certain downgrade or misconfiguration scenarios
An IMSI is the identifier associated with your cellular subscription, and it is separate from your IP traffic.
So the practical answer is:
A VPN protects the contents of app-based internet communications, but it does not make the phone invisible to the fake tower.
Best practical protection
Use a reputable VPN with:
Always-on VPN
Kill switch
Block connections without VPN
Split tunneling disabled
Also:
Disable 2G cellular service when your phone supports it. Older 2G connections are particularly vulnerable to interception and downgrade attacks. Android specifically offers 2G network protections on supported devices.
Prefer encrypted apps such as Signal for messages and calls instead of ordinary SMS and cellular voice.
Keep the operating system and carrier settings updated.
Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning when they are not needed.
For the strongest protection in a sensitive location, use airplane mode or turn the phone completely off. A VPN cannot protect the cellular signaling channel while the cellular modem is connected.
For your particular concern, the strongest usable combination is 5G/4G only, 2G disabled, always-on VPN with a kill switch, and Signal rather than SMS or regular cellular calls. Even then, a cell-site simulator may detect and locate the handset—it should have a much harder time reading your actual communications.

I have spent the last 10 days of free time working on my 2005 Grand Cherokee trying to get it running again. So far it has not gone into limp mode in the last few days, I am hoping it is fixed. From what I can tell, it ended up being the MAP sensor that was giving wrong information to the PCM even though none of the codes pointed to the MAP sensor. I changed it because it was the only sensor I had not changed out yet, at 30 bucks, I thought, why not.

The NSA called this operating system catastrophic.
It fits on an 8GB USB stick.
It's called Tails OS.
- Released in 2009 by a nonprofit team backed by the Tor Project.
- Built for one thing: leaving no trace behind.
- Runs entirely from a USB stick.
- Plug it into almost any computer and boot instantly.
- Tails loads fully into RAM.
- Never touches the computer’s hard drive.
- Shut it down and everything disappears.
- Files gone.
- Passwords gone.
- Browsing history gone.
- Like the session never happened.
- Every internet connection routes through Tor automatically.
- Your traffic bounces across 3 encrypted relays worldwide.
- No single server sees the full picture.
- In 2013, journalists working with Edward Snowden used Tails.
- Leaked NSA documents later called it a “major threat.”
- Combined with other privacy tools, they called it “catastrophic.”
- Free and fully open source.
- Fits on a tiny USB drive.
- Still one of the most powerful privacy tools ever made.
Most operating systems are designed to remember everything.
Tails OS was designed to forget you ever existed.

I was able to get my Mestastic and ATAK working together and sending messages to different nodes. All is working out. Just sitting here doing the things to get prepared.

This is a great system to use. Watch the video by @S2Underground to learn a lot more about it.

This is for a rural internet free camera system. Feel free to substitute any piece for anything else that you might want to use. I did include an IP scheme to make it easier to set up for the very beginner who dont understand how to get IP addresses.
