We Are One Jammat
Rumi, in one of his mystical verses, reveals a truth filled with divine wisdom and spiritual insight. He writes:
khud-kuza-o-khud-kuza-gar-o-khud-gil-e-kuza kHud-rind-e-subū-kash
kHud-bar-sar-e-āñ kūza-kHarīdār bar aamad bashkast ravāñ shud
He Himself is the pot, the potter, and the clay from which the pot is shaped.
He Himself is the one who drinks from the cup of love.
Then He appears beside that very vessel as its buyer and master.
At last, He breaks the vessel, and the soul journeys onward.
This mystical Sufi verse begins with a profound thought. Rumi says, ‘My Beloved appears in every age by taking different forms. He reveals Himself in many ways sometimes as a child, sometimes as an elder.’
Then, in the middle of the poem, this verse is used to express a deep spiritual reality and an eternal divine light that has existed upon this earth since the beginning of time.
رومیؒ اپنے ایک صوفیانہ اور پُراسرار کلام میں ایسی حقیقت کو آشکار کرتے ہیں، جس کے ہر لفظ میں معرفت کی خوشبو، پوشیدہ ہے۔ وہ لکھتے ہیں:
یعنی وہی خود کُوزہ ہے، وہی کُوزہ بنانے والا، اور وہی وہ مٹی ہے جس سے یہ وجود تشکیل پاتا ہے۔
وہی عشق کے جام کو پینے والا ہے، اور وہی اس رازِ محبت کا امین بھی۔
پھر وہی اس کُوزے کے پاس خریدار بن کر آتا ہے،
اور آخرکار اُسی کُوزے کو توڑ کر روح کو ایک نئے سفر پر روانہ کر دیتا ہے۔
یہ صوفیانہ کلام ایک نہایت عمیق حقیقت سے آغاز ہوتا ہے۔ رومیؒ گویا پردۂ راز اٹھاتے ہوئے فرماتے ہیں کہ:
میرا محبوب ہر زمانے میں اپنی صورت بدل کر آتا ہے۔
وہ مختلف روپوں میں ظاہر ہوتا ہے۔
کبھی ایک معصوم بچے کی صورت میں،
اور کبھی ایک دانا بزرگ کے روپ میں
رومیؒ کے نزدیک یہ دنیا صرف ظاہری چہروں کا کھیل نہیں، بلکہ ہر دور میں ایک ایسا نور جلوہ گر ہوتا ہے جو ازل سے قائم ہے۔
