This is another one of those Hair Metal CDs lost in the shuffle of flooding the market with any glam outfit to be called a band in the late 80's/early 90's. This would've been a monster if it didn't get shuffled off as another Hair Band. Along with Cry Wolf, XYZ and Xenon, one of the best Hair Metal discs out there. If you like Hair Metal this is a must buy!

Junkyard is a hard rock/sleaze rock band formed in 1987 in Los Angeles, with members formerly in Minor Threat, The Necros, and Dag Nasty. The band has often drawn comparisons with Guns N' Roses (which, like Junkyard, signed with Geffen Records)

Originally released in 1986, this is their 2nd album. Hard rock with a very full sound, this album contains some great material. David Glen Eisley's vocals are very similar to Journey's Steve Perry. Same power, same vocal range, but put to music that's somewhat heavier.

Another excellent album from the Canadian band, Wall Of Silence. Great crisp production and wonderful vocals. 'Edge of a Heartbreak', 'Last Nite' and 'Addicted' are three of my favorite anthem-type rockers out there. 'It's Only Love' and 'Stop the Rain' are majestic ballads and the closer, 'Nobody's Hero' is just one of my favourite songs out there. Killer album, nothing more nothing less.

Without a shadow of doubt this is one of the best female fronted AOR releases ever. From start to finish this is just simply an amazing release. 'Leave well enough alone' has to be one of the finest AOR songs ever written. I'll be lovin you, Keep this love alive, The last Time, Walk the line are real gems. You can not go wrong with this release.
