Mickey 17 Review (No Spoilers): So, Mickey 17 is about this young guy who basically allows his clone to be made — and humanity’s trying to colonize new planets through a space exploration program. During this mission, Mickey keeps getting used as a test subject to fix all sorts of problems.
Now, technically speaking, the movie looks amazing — tons of detail, great cinematography, and a really cool concept. But here’s the thing: the execution doesn’t quite match the idea. The first half is super engaging and flows really well, but the second half kinda loses its pace and even drifts away from the main concept.
Overall, I did enjoy it, but because of those second-half issues and how it strays from the main idea, I’d give it a 7 out of 10.
