I’ve made 2 new Yuletide projects already this year. Such fun! I’ve already added all instructions for the blue blanket to the pattern and now I have completed this beautiful table runner too.

I Used a 3.5 mm hook and 100% linen - which was not so pleasant to work with actually, but the results after blocking are GREAT! ✨👌🏽 so, I used the chart for the big swinging hearts, good on both sides … but modified it a bit. Also used the nice extra technique I show you in the Freyja video (link below) to get the hearts extra rounded and nice! 🥰✨ then I framed it up with the baby Saga border, and I must say I’m particularly pleased with this one! 😅✨ kinda wanna keep it for myself 😂 but no no, this is a gift ❤️✨ I’ll upload a file with the info to the pattern soon, as you know, this is an add to pattern! 🥰 so I plan to just keeping making more Yuletide projects for the coming years, and adding to the pattern! ✨ such fun! 💃🏽

I’ve been trying to upload day 6 of who’s your granny for over 24 hrs now! 🙈 maybe it doesn’t work on my phone because it’s too long. Hello beautiful people! ✨❤️

Wowsa are we off to a great start with our 2024 crochet along! ✨❤️ whoop whoooop! I’m positively bursting with fruit flavour over here 🥰 everything is running smoothly, no mayor hiccups with the pattern and best of all, soooo many of you guys joining in!! And making the most beautiful blankets, all over the world ✨🤸🏻‍♀️ I couldn’t be happier. We really do have the best group over on FB ❤️ and of course the ABSOLUTE best admin team 🏆

Ok. So I’m gonna do a little video hiatus… I’ve now done 4 daily videos in a row and am a bit out of breath over here 🤣 This really was a rather crazy plan and honestly it wouldn’t even be healthy to make the whole blanket in a week anyways!! 🤣

Surprisingly, Many of you have actually kept up with this crazy pace 🤣 so I’m happy that I’ve now showed you all the important parts, in the first 4 videos. Seems like it’s going really well now and everyone doing great with their ISLANDS blankets and can continue on their own ✨

I’ll resume with the 3 remaining videos after the weekend! The only important part that’s left is the border video (part 7). This gives everyone a chance to catch up and just enjoy the ride! ✨

Again, thank you so much for participating, it means the world to me to see all your beautiful blankets in the making ✨ every now and again, in the midst of my day to day mundane you know: cooking, walking the dog, making lunchboxes and dealing with homework etc … then I think about you guys, all over the globe, crocheting my blanket along with me, well it just makes me feel like a little bit of a superwoman too! ✨😅🙈❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ haha, I know I shouldn’t brag, but man this is frigging amazing I tell you! 😅😎✌🏽❤️
