Iconic rock vocalist, songwriter and multi instrumentalist Paul Rodgers is releasing a new album of original music. Nearly 49 years to the day after the release of the first Bad Company album in 1974 and 54 years since his very first album 'Tons of Sobs' with Free was released in 1969, “Midnight Rose" marks Rodgers’ first solo studio album in nearly 25 years.

"In each song his sound perfectly matched and enhanced the mood and atmosphere of the lyrics — dark, moody and mysterious ‘Electricland’ or the blatantly rock and roll ‘Preacher.’ To me he was, and will forever and always be extremely inspirational. I believe that Mick made Bad Company what it is with his unique and varied guitar sounds.
I can’t say how he got the variety of sounds he did. They broke the mold when they made him. I’m so happy we learned about our Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction while he was still alive. He was very happy when he heard the news.”

I loved the guy. He really moved me. Steve was a staple in my listening and learning curve. He followed the emotion of the song and he was the gold standard by which I viewed every guitar player. He was beyond a legend for me. Condolences from my heart to all who loved him.
