What will you do when Manna Stops falling?
When the children of Israel entered the Promised Land at Gilgal, the manna, their supernatural provision for 40 years stopped. God had not abandoned them. The season had simply changed. It was time to cultivate, produce, and fight for territory.
As a business owner, you must develop the spiritual and strategic intelligence to recognize when your “manna” has ceased.
That product that once sold effortlessly… its now struggling
That innovation that once gave us advantage… is now commonplace
That market position that once felt secure… is now being challenged by competition
Recognize that Seasons change!
Gilgal teaches us that maturity requires transition from dependence to responsibility, from survival to conquest, from comfort to growth. Like Pastor Tony Rapu will say, "new levels, new devils".
What I learnt from Gilgal is that you don’t stay stuck on past successes. Celebrate them. Protect what works. Improve continuously. Then move forward boldly.
Sometimes God stops the manna because He is inviting you to possess new land and reap bigger harvests.
“Now the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the produce of the land; and the children of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Canaan that year.” Joshua 5:12 (NKJV)

Do you know what time it is?
It may appear to be a time of global and local chaos and moving targets. However, in my studies and current work at Scientia Partners, I’ve noticed that the founders who actually scale in this volatility aren't necessarily the fastest. They are the ones who can see through the mist.
They are like the sons of Issachar who were famous for understanding the times and knew exactly what to do.
They were not just hustlers, they were strategic discerners. They saw clearly and knew what to do. They had the Issachar Edge or what bible believing Christians will call the anointing.
In 2026, to find your own Issachar Edge, you might want to try some of what I am doing this year:
Audit the Noise: Stop reacting to every news cycle of founders crushing it or raising new capital. Spend more time looking at your own data than your competitor’s latest social media post. Seeing your data and knowing how to use the insights for growth is the real thing.
Strategic Silence: Sometimes the best move isn’t the loudest one. It’s the move that aligns with where the market is going, not where it was yesterday. So, you might need to stop looking at yesterday’s stories and start building your own future with clarity and action.
As this new year grows older, don’t just work harder, work with insights like the sons of Issachar, "Of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command." 1 Chronicles 12:32 (NKJV)
Take time to ask yourself how much of your current strategy is a reaction to 'market noise' versus a move based on actual discernment? Do you even have a strategy for the year?

When my son was learning to sit, he fell.
When he tried to stand, he wobbled.
When he finally walked, it was drama!
