A 23 year old man armed with a knife broke into the home of a 72 year old retired soldier in England, not realising the homeowner Frank Corti was also a former boxer in the Royal Engineers

According to reports, the intruder underestimated the resident and soon found out.

Authorities were alerted following the incident, which has since highlighted the real risks of targeting individuals with extensive military and self defence backgrounds. The intruder was convicted for aggravated burglary, took a beating and the home owner became a legend overnight

This incident happened many years ago, but the story deserves to be reshared. Shoutout to Frank who served justice with his bricks for hands 🧱

Anthony Joshua has reportedly retired from boxing. His uncle Adedamola Joshua said in an interview with The Punch -

“The major thing there is that he has retired from boxing. That is one thing that makes us glad because each time he’s fighting in the ring, we are always carried away emotionally. Each time he’s knocked down, it is just like the heart is coming out of our chest. All these emotional feelings whenever he’s fighting, it’s too much trauma for us, also. Now that he has said that he’s leaving while the ovation is highest, we are happy.”

I can’t imagine what Joshua is going through at this moment in time. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for the sport.

AJ brought boxing back to the UK and have been a great champion inside and outside of the ring.
