I hope you will join me, bring your favourite brew and let's just sit in the field and ponder on the harvest! Don't forget to join me on social media for more fun stuff in between the podcasts. LIONSGATE PORTAL - if this is something you would like to work with, the best date is obviously 8th of the 8th, but you can do this anytime before or after during August - it's all about manifesting abundance into you life. Instead of a podcast I have written a ritual you may like to try on my patreon page - it's free! Here's the link: www.patreon.com/AlchemicalSerenity/posts/lionsgate…

Do you work with these energies, if so let me know in the comments below, always lovely to hear what the date means to us all on our different paths!

Much love, light and abundance in your Grove

Hey All, bit of a drama on Monday 3rd........if you follow me on tiktok or insta you will have seen it, but the bottom paddock of my field caught fire when the field behind set alight while they were combining! For my non-British friends here, we haven't had any rain on our fields for at least 2 months and something probably caused a spark, and wooosh up it went. Thankfully the combine harvester and workers all got out the field safely and the fire brigade arrived in record time! My horsey friends who also have their 4-legged besties on the farm raced down to my field while I was driving over and brought the girls up into the stables so the fire engines could put it all out safely! My horses aren't scared of fires, they have been brought up with absolutely every noise and smell possible! They are currently in a safe field by the farm and hopefully going back in to the top field as soon as I am happy it's safe for them. It's on my Shorts if you want to see what happened!

I will keep you updated!
I am off to do a rain dance in the field!

I need to apologise for giving the wrong name of the plant in July's podcast - I called it Motherwyrt, when it's Mugwyrt - I have no idea why, truly messed that one up when recording.........I have been using Mugwyrt for years to make my own saining/smudging sticks - I blame the 34 degrees weather we keep experiencing!! the good news is it's growing back again. Hoooorah!

It's Midsummer's Day!

Midsummer's day was a traditional day of celebration for our ancient ancestors. Bonfires were lit the night before accompanied by dancing all night into the sunrise.
There is evidence that it has been an important day since the Neolithic era.
In the Julien calendar of the Roman world the date of the summer solstice and the middle of summer was 24th June. It was also the festival of the Goddess Fors Fortuna.

The Christians took the date for the birthday of St John the Baptist and it became known as St John's day. Festival fires were lit on St John's eve.

For many people it's the time of the Summer Solstice rather than the 21st.

So if you are still wanting to party a little longer, Midsummer has you covered! Although in this current British heat I think some of us will be standing under a cold hose pipe rather than standing by a bonfire.

Happy Midsummer's Day or Summer Solstice depending on your personal observance.

Hello! Hello! Just a quickie, firstly - Happy Bank Holiday, half term and Whitsun Week depending on what you call this week if you are in the UK. I hope you are enjoying the rather warm weather and making the most of it!
Secondly the podcast is a bit late, because good old apple won't let me into my own account to download my videos of the field for the vloggy bit! There has been a lot of swearing and cursing! I am hoping it sorts itself out and I can put it live ASAP - so bear with me in the meantime we can always chat..................
