Cantasia Studios

Greetings, beautiful people!

It’s time for a general Cantasia development update, including a detailed overview of the current production of The Winterland Incident. Let’s begin before it’s too late.

The Winterland Incident

Writing and Directing:

Episode 1’s script was completed months ago. An important update is that after the release of Episode 1, Mr. Carpet will be writing Episodes 2 through 8 of The Winterland Incident. Of course, I will still contribute to the production in every way possible, but I believe it would be much better to hand the main writing role over to him, as he has stronger and more original ideas for the plot.

As for directing, this will be the workflow: he will direct me, and I will direct the team according to his vision.

3D Art:

Episode 1 includes only one mascot, Polar Pooh, and it has already been completed and filmed for several shots.

We currently have three main 3D sequences:

The stage performance scene, which remains mostly the same, only the environment is different, so it needs to be re-rendered.

A “Damage Control” found footage sequence, which is fully completed, both rendering and editing.

The classic Ethan Smith sequence. The voice lines are already recorded, the environment is ready, and all that remains is recording the camera animations and finishing a few 2D posters, which should not take long. I’m estimating one week maximum.

2D Art:

Not much to say here except that El_Ashes, our new 2D artist, has been helping a lot. The images provided was drawn and colored by them, then edited in Photoshop by me.

Music:

Not much to share at the moment.

Voice Acting:

We have cast all open roles, and all of our voice actors and actresses are currently recording their remaining lines.

Release:

I’m confident that we’ll be able to release the episode by mid, maybe late summer this year, meaning Episode 2 will most likely not be releasing during Christmas.

---

Winterland Incident Christmas Special

We have plans to create a fully cinematic 10–15 minute Christmas special animation for Christmas 2026.

It is still in the brainstorming phase, so we do not have any plot details or ideas to share just yet.

---

New In-House Project

This part is important, and I hope you will all support my decision.

For months, we were working on a digital horror series about a guy getting sucked into a computer where a game is running inside, featuring an evil AI-powered NPC. It was going to be a mix of Tron and Alice in Wonderland.

However, as you may have noticed, it resembled a certain popular animated show a little too much. Because of that, a few days ago we decided to change the concept significantly and move away from the digital horror genre, transforming it into a fully animated cinematic 3D show.

I cannot reveal much yet, but it is essentially about a young adult somehow traveling to a different dimension inhabited by non-human entities.

This will not be horror. Instead, it will be a fantasy adventure story.

The decision I want you all to understand is that the second reason I stepped away from the main writer role for The Winterland Incident is that I realized I am not at my best when writing analog horror, or horror in general. I want to focus my writing skills on this new project.

I will absolutely continue working with Mr. Carpet on the writing, of course, but he will be the main writer moving forward.

I can assure you that he will provide a much stronger story, with satisfying characters and solid plot development.

Channel Update

Another important announcement is that we have officially changed the channel name to Cantasia Studios.

The reason behind this change is that our future plans now go far beyond horror content and the Files of Fear universe.

While The Winterland Incident remains a major part of our identity, we are also beginning development on other shows and stories that are not horror, and will not even take place within the Files of Fear universe at all.

We wanted the channel name to better represent our long-term vision as a studio, one that creates multiple cinematic series across different genres, styles, and worlds.

This is a huge step for us, and we’re incredibly excited for what’s coming next.

---

That’s all for today, folks.

I hope you’re ready for what we’ve been cooking up.

Stay tuned, stay shining.

And don’t forget, we’ll see you on the next SHOW.
Yeah, show, not file... bye.

Hey @everyone!

Hope you’re all having a wonderful day!
Since we’re rebooting the series, I wanted to ask you something important.

One of the main goals of this reboot is to get rid of unnecessary side plots. For me, the United States Entity Department plot feels unnecessary right now. I want you all to know that this plot will not evolve into something big, or even into anything at all. U.S.E.D. will always exist in the Files of Fear universe, but we’ve realized that we don’t have to include it in every story.

So here’s the question:

Do you want this plot, which has nothing to do with the main storyline, to be present in the reboot?

THE WINTERLAND INCIDENT | Timeline Reset Update

Hey everyone, hope you’re all having a winterful day. I know I am!

After careful consideration of everyone’s opinions from the team and our close friends, Mr. Carpet and I decided to move forward with The Winterland Incident: Timeline Reset project.

I know some of you didn’t want this, but trust me, this decision will do justice to the project. I want everyone to understand that this choice wasn’t made because a small group disliked the current episode, it was made because I realized there were major plot-wise flaws that couldn’t be properly fixed moving forward.

To be honest, I wanted to reboot the series days before Episode 1 was released. There were things I wanted to change and things I wanted to remove, and this is our opportunity to finally deliver the actual vision I’ve always had in mind:

Creating the ultimate Disneyland / Disney Co. analog horror.

Notices:

1 - The new timeline is almost complete, with two major key events still waiting to be adapted.

2 - Episode 1 and Episode 2 shouldn’t take long, since we plan to reuse a lot of assets, and the team is more crowded than ever.

3 - Most of what you know will be different or completely removed in this new series. For example, Windy’s Waffles and The Circus (mentioned in Episode 2) never existed. There is only one place now: the renamed park, Winterland.

4 - Please note that the previous timeline will be 100% non-canon. You won’t be able to use the original episodes to solve the new timeline, trust me.

That’s about it for now. Thank you all for supporting the studio and our project. I can guarantee that once you watch the reset episodes, you’ll realize this is what the series was always meant to be.

I’ll leave you with a cool render I made for the opening scene of the reset Episode 1.

Stay safe, stay shining, see you in the next file...

Greetings horror lovers.

For the past 3-4 days we were talking about our flaws on The Winterland Incident and those talkings made me realized about MY doubts about the series in general but specifically the overflowed plot… yeah big surprise right? I’m convinced that Winterland’s plot is SO crowded that I forgot some stuff while writing and stuff.

Anyway I realized:
“…I don’t want to make myself and the team working on a series that I think is a mess plot-wise”

SO, we’re canceling- No just kidding we’ll would like you to vote this:

How would you feel if we rereleased episode 1 and 2 with a new vision in mind? The plot and some stuff will be changed, some stuff will be removed and some of them will be fixed. And this time the series will be much easier to understand.

But worry not I’m sure this will not take long, since we can reuse a lot of assets.

Anyway, that’s it, me and Mr.Carpet will be discussing this tomorrow and will announce our plan within 4-5 days. What you guys think? Think This trough and vote.
