Hey everyone!
Thank you to those who watched my recent video on PTA. Your support is always appreciated. I just wanted to post an update for the channel. Long story short, I’m going on hiatus. The reason for this is that I’m deep into work on my first short film. I’ve been working on this project to varying degrees all year, but as I’m coming towards the end of shooting, I need to dedicate the coming months to working on the editing and sound design of the piece. I love making essays on this channel, and I’ve learnt so much from the doing of it all, but my main aspiration has always been to make films, and I’m more than happy to do that at any scale I’m able to. I turn 28 next month, and it’s about time I started to realise these ideas and put them out into the world. I don’t have a timeline as to when it will be done, but I’m excited for you to see it one day. Until then, I wish you all the very best.

Hey there, it’s been a little while. For my next video I’ll be covering the works of Na Hong-jin, including a preview of Hope, which I managed to see at Cannes. It was my first time at Cannes, and it was a pretty unbelievable experience. Yes, I saw some great films, but for me the highlight of the festival was the people I met. There are so many cool people out there in the world just doing their own thing, and that’s great to see. With that said, the festival set me back a bit with my creating, so I thank you as always for your support and patience.

Next up, I’m heading back to the world of David Lynch for a video about The Elephant Man. Over the next year or so I’d also like to cover Wild at Heart, The Straight Story and probably Mulholland Drive again and make a full retrospective about David’s films (minus Dune.) I have different videos I’d like to make in between these releases as well, but ideas take time, so I’ll have to be patient. See you soon x

It’s been a rough few days for the channel. I’ve never had any issues with copyright before, but I guess this is what happens as the channel reaches more people. I managed to get the Lynch video back up and running, although there is a lot of blurred sections in the Mulholland Drive section now. Similarly I’ve had to blur some sections of the Kubrick video, although the copyright has frustratingly yet to be lifted. We will see what happens I guess but I hope the videos aren’t too affected with the changes. Fingers crossed my luck improves going forward. In better news, I’m making good progress on the Trier video and I expect that to be released later this month.
