A chance was there when she needed hope the most and our sweet Hope was one of the best chances we ever took! An ambassador for her breed Hope is everything we love about pitbulls. Kind, affectionate, loyal this girl doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Just all the pittie love and sweetness those of us who advocate for the breed expect. Hope is amazing and what makes her even more incredible is she literally has no reason to be kind to anyone. Such a painful past that included being thrown out like a piece of trash. But still she chooses love.
Hope was found by Marleys Mutts staff wandering alone by an orchard in a rural area. Literally no one around for miles and this poor sweet and very pregnant girl chose not to give up. She trudged along looking for her chance at safety and hoping someone kind would come along. That day Hope’s hope paid off. We did see her and we gave her and her unborn babies the chance her former family never did. The chance at life. Hope gave birth a week after we picked her up and raised 6 happy healthy babies who have all now been adopted. The momma dogs always seem to be chosen last and we’re hopeful you’ll see how incredible Hope is and give this resilient girl her chance.
Hope is beyond affectionate and so thankful for anything humans are willing to give. She hasn’t met a stranger yet and is always happy tail wags and loads of pittie wiggles. She has the biggest heart we’ve ever seen and despite everything she’s been through wants nothing more than the love and trust she can share with a family. Hope is dog friendly, cat friendly and the very kindest soul you’ll ever meet. She’s great on leash has a very nice medium energy level and is just about the most perfect of pitties you can find. If you’re looking for a lover who brings joy to every aspect of life please consider giving sweet Hope the family she’s been waiting for.

And Teddy? He’s just the sweetest little pitbull pup that’s basically won all our hearts. He’s going to need surgery as he was hit by a car (more on that in a future post) but this sweet boy is a living doll. ❤️

Do you ever feel overwhelmed? Helpless? Hopeless? Alone?
These feelings can be a lot to deal with but we want to help. Our program pairs veterans and first responders with qualified therapists and dogs to provide support, coping skills, and hope to those that are struggling.
Our rescue dogs can help us heal and overcome some of these challenges. They show us unconditional love, are stellar examples of resilience, and remind us that so much joy can be found in life.
