I'm Shanna — former labor & delivery nurse, mom of three grown kids, and as of a few months ago, a full-time van lifer with my dog Charlie riding shotgun.
For 20 years, my life was other people's beginnings: first as an L&D nurse, then managing high-risk maternity cases. Then my kids grew up and scattered across the country, and I found myself asking the question: is starting over at midlife a crisis, or the best decision of my life?
So far it's involved quitting my career, buying a Sprinter van, and setting out to see the country — one campsite, one hiking trail, and one honest mistake at a time.
This channel is for anyone who's ever wondered if it's too late to go do something different. (Spoiler: it's not.)
