EuFMD FAST
The European Commission for the Control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease works with 40 Member Nations on their preparedness, with European neighbours to put in place sustainable control programmes, and supports and promotes the progressive control of FMD in all regions under the Global FMD Control Strategy of FAO and WOAH.
EuFMD's forward-looking strategy, Move FAST – Get Prepared, outlines three key Focus Objectives, under which seven Action Areas are implemented, according to eight principles, to ensure a safer Europe from the daily threat of FAST diseases.
The three Focus Objectives are Protect Livestock // Respond to Crises // Improve Control
