I often get bursts of ideas for scenes. Over time I collect them a they form into a story. They just do that themselves. All I have to do is be open to them and not to try and force them into anything, I can help them along the way of course, but they have their own path. The results are always very deeply interesting to me, often sparking more excitement for film or whatever story it may be. It’s my favourite. These are some images I created with midjourney to show myself or at least have some evidence of a string of ideas I had one day out walking.
